Overall, the hotel offered quality experience. Service was professional and friendly. The hotel is well maintained. The room was ok, but nothing special. It was a bit dark because of small window but overall I can't complain. Contrary to some other reviewers, I found the hotel good value for money (EUR 128 for double room incl. breakfast for two and... More

Breakfasts were good, but you had to pay extra for them. Also our room had a fridge, but nothing in it - no complimentary water or anything - so it fell down in comparison with one or two other places we stayed. That said, the hotel is attractive and interestingly decorated with Wagner-focused memorabilia, the rooms are comfortable (though a... More

The hotel hasa shortcomings, like - rather close to a street, - no AC - a simple layout - nothing fancy, quasi dated old bar. We went there as we got tickets for Bayreuth Meistersinger, the Wagner Festival. We liked the place, as the service and attention to the traveller is very high and warm. Reception folks really wanted to... More

Our room was over 160€ and didn't include much. It was very dated, so much so that I couldn't imagine myself being intimate with someone there. But if you go to the ever so popular Bayreuth Festival and absolutely need something, then this is your place. Our television was an old cancer causing tube with a funky remote that could... More

My travel agent booked 2 nights for me with Ramada. If you enjoy spa and sauna, big breakfast spread and nice spacious rooms go for it. There is only one internet computer to use but it could not print my boarding pasd cos the browser was too old i think. Paid 6 euros for WiFi but very slow and only... More

The hotel is much better than most hotels in Bayreuth - and also much more expensive. During festival we paid 166 Euros for a double room bed and breakfast (the breakfast costs 14 Euros/person). Very friendly and efficient staff. The bus shuttle to and from the festival house includes also a glass of champagne to start you off, and costs... More

This hotel is centrally located in Bayreuth offering a decently priced accommodation. There's a nice garden with interesting sculptures outside allowing for a nice walk during warm evenings. In addition, the hotel features a spa, which was clean. It does get crowded in the afternoon, though. During the opera festival, the hotel provides shuttle service to Festspielhaus - the venue... One night on business here. Parking below the hotel is chargeable and limited. Hotel staff excellent, switching to English as soon as I spoke. Oh we Brit's should try harder with laguages. Room is the, now ubiquitous, affair in 'stock hotels', but clean, comfortable and well maintained nevertheless. Easy walking for the town centre wher we ate at Oscars -... More

We booked a Comfort (= Standard) Room during the Bayreuth Wagner Festival for a fair price (148 EUR incl. breakfast). The hotel itself, a standard conference hotel right around the corner from Bayreuth's picturesque Old Town, is nothing to write home about, but they added some nice touches such as free soft drinks in the lobby or some printed information...
