Hotel restaurant Löwe is a beautiful hotel in an old building in Ulm. The rooms were clean, fresh and comfy. Decorated in modern style. The restaurant was good and the breakfast as well. Fried eggs on demand. We were Travelling through Germany on our way to Italy and this hotel was a great stop. Free parking. Nice beer garden close... More

All good, clean, cosy with very helpful staff. Nice spacious room. Away from the centre of town but in a quiet walled village that oozed history. Easy access to centre via tram or easy drive. Breakfast was good, overall a pleasant experience

Unfortunately , I had not researched this hotel well enough and did not realize it was so far out of the city of Ulm . The hotel was easy to find by car , free parking , very friendly obliging staff , clean , modern , excellent breakfast but even with two pillows , it was like sleeping on a... More

Our wonderful stay in this hotel prompted this message, my first-ever TripAdvisor review. I want to tell everyone about this gem! This is a small, historic – but nicely renovated – hotel. Good food, nice wine and kids menu, including kid-sized schnitzel and fries. We stayed here three nights and took our small kids to Legoland Deutschland. Legoland doesn’t open... More

We stayed only for one night in this hotel on our way to Austria. But it was so good and the service was excellent, efficient and friendly that we want to go back there one day. The room was very nice and the bathroom, although a bit small was well equipped. Breakfast was very good.

If you are looking for a hotel right in the center and close to the Muenster in Ulm this is not the right place, but if you look for a nice, confortable hotel this is where you have to go. Breakfast is exquisite with a typical German broad choice of breads (including laugen-bread, a typical south-German saulty bread), cheeses and... More

We spent 3 nights here in April while visiting our son, who was an exchange student at the University of Ulm. The hotel is in a converted monastery, but the rooms are very modern and well-appointed. Ours was small (by American standards), but I suspect the upstairs rooms are larger. The staff were very pleasant - most spoke limited English,... More

Positives: Recently renovated, clean and stylish rooms in a building that oozes character. The owners have done the impossible and introduced modern materials and colours (steel, chrome, bright red accents, frosted glass bathrooms etc) into a historic building without turning it into an anonymous chain-style hotel. Well done! Good location in a quiet courtyard setting - no traffic noise at... More

This is a stunning hotel & restaurant. Beautiful and clean rooms and extremely helpful staff. There's someone watching the car park to meet and greet all visitors - a nice touch. The restaurant was full but as residents they accommodated us at the bar and gave us free coffee. The menu is traditional Swabian food - very reasonably priced and... More

This was the very first trip to Germany for my wife and I and we decided to head for the Black Forest. It comprised 10 nights departing on Monday 5th August 2013 and returning on Thursday 15 August 2013. We flew from London Stansted to Baden Baden (Ryanair) and had booked a hire car from Hertz. We always choose a... More
