To begin, this is like a typical hostel in the welcoming and community atmosphere and that one usually uses shared spaces like kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. Furnishings will be modest. This hostel is attractive and in a good location. I did not meet the manager, but she was very helpful by email. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the communal facilities good. The one disappointment was the advertised bicycle facilities - there was a yard behind the hostel which was not secured, and had no fixed cycle stands to... More

Really lovely hostel. Bright rooms, comfy beds, good showers and bathrooms. In a good location - Though in Neu-Ulm only a short walk or bus ride from the main Ulm city centre. Really enjoyed my stay here.

This small hostel has such a chilled and welcoming atmosphere - the owner Anja is very laid-back, friendly and helpful and just makes you feel so happy to be there. The building is old and atmospheric and the kitchen and living spaces are so lovely, with cool retro furniture, all the facilities you could need, and even a lovely chandelier!... More

This hostel was amazing. Hostels can be really gross or really nice, and this place was outstanding! I couldn't believe it! The gal from Brickstone I talked to on the phone was so nice and explained everything so well. I was really shocked to see everything exactly as she said. It's a great place to spend a couple of nights in, and it's obvious that Anja, the lovely host, is really taking care of the place. This little hostel is run by its lovely owner, Anja. It has six rooms in two floors, with 2,3 or 4 beds each.
