To begin, this is like a typical hostel in the welcoming and community atmosphere and that one usually uses shared spaces like kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. Furnishings will be modest. It is NOT like a typical hostel as the customers were a bit more mature and the hostel did not have a party vibe or host pub crawls. We... More

This hostel is attractive and in a good location. I did not meet the manager, but she was very helpful by email. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the communal facilities good. The one disappointment was the advertised bicycle facilities - there was a yard behind the hostel which was not secured, and had no fixed cycle stands to... More

Really lovely hostel. Bright rooms, comfy beds, good showers and bathrooms. In a good location - Though in Neu-Ulm only a short walk or bus ride from the main Ulm city centre. Really enjoyed my stay here.

This small hostel has such a chilled and welcoming atmosphere - the owner Anja is very laid-back, friendly and helpful and just makes you feel so happy to be there. The building is old and atmospheric and the kitchen and living spaces are so lovely, with cool retro furniture, all the facilities you could need, and even a lovely chandelier!... More

This hostel was amazing. Hostels can be really gross or really nice, and this place was outstanding! I couldn't believe it! The gal from Brickstone I talked to on the phone was so nice and explained everything so well. I was really shocked to see everything exactly as she said. Something to be aware of is that the office hours... More

It's a great place to spend a couple of nights in, and it's obvious that Anja, the lovely host, is really taking care of the place. The rooms are big, the furniture seemed to be pretty new, and the beds were really comfy. There is a chill-out space at the first floor with a piano, guitar, and some books, and... More

This little hostel is run by its lovely owner, Anja. It has six rooms in two floors, with 2,3 or 4 beds each. The rooms are very large - mine was ~14m^2, and are equipped with very nice furniture, comfortable bed, light, closets, in one room I saw a piano! Everything is new in this hostel, and it is kept... I stayed here for two days in November. It was hard fiding the hostel since it was in this little street(also It was dark when I got there). Anja welcomed me and made me feel at home. They have huge kitchen where you can have your own breakfast, free tea and coffee and they also have snack mini bar(you have... More
