1. Room is not clean and not adequately equipped. 2. Very noisy at night (noisy at day is ok) 3. No curtain 4. When I closed the window to reduce noise, the room becomes smelly, I kept sneezing the whole night and didn't realize that's because I closed the window 6. My company booked the room for me at 85... Room 103 of this hotel is easily the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room itself was a very small near-triangle shape, with a double bed placed in the centre, because of the room's shape the bed did not go up against a wall. In most societies and hotels this would be a norm. Could it have... More

Surprised to see a room with no curtains but some strange threads on the window. U-bahn turns to tram just in front of the hotel. It isn't very noisy, but a little bit strange because of curtains. Anyway - my son was happy to observe trains from our room.

We attended a (fantastic) concert at the Liederhalle, and since we weren't sure whether we'd make the last train back to Munich in time, we booked a room here for the night. It sufficed for that, but I would not stay here again or for any longer. We were put in one of the upper rooms, which is usually preferable... More

This Hotel represents the lower side of the Standards. The room was clean but very very noisy due to the tramway and a wide arterial road. The bathroom was one of those complete plastic boxes where everything is out of one piece: walls, floor and shower. The towels were old and looked very used. Very curious was the electronical locking... More

The Hotel Espenlaub in Stuttgart is quiet near to the centre of Stuttgart. Only 2 Stations with the U-Bahn ( Subway ) and you´re at the Mainstation, 1 Staion and you´re at the Schlossplatz, where the new castle stands. The price and the location are as good as they can be, but you get what you pay for. The rooms... More

We stayed 2 nights. Regular room but we slept great. Service was excellent. The location is fantastic as it's right across from the light rail stop, 3 stops from the Hauptbahnhof. Also easy walking distance to the main shopping area.

We were accommodated by this hotel at very short notice due to a problem with our booking elsewhere. We got a friendly reception and two spacious rooms; everything was clean and tidy. The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is very handily placed for all city attractions and public transport. The area is a bit seedy but not dangerous.

This is, on many levels, the worst hotel I have slept in, in all of Europe, and I sleep in a lot of budget hotels! From where should I start? Well, the first thing, as soon as we entered, and carried our luggage up the stairs to the first floor (as that's where the reception is, the ground floor is... More
