This is a fairly cheap and very clean accommodation... but with ants. The staff spoke English and the views from the restaurant were good. But be aware, there was little German kids playing football in the corridor and bedroom door at 2am in the morning, the bedroom door lock would stop working, the staff were un-helpful and charged for services... Had a great time at the hostal, with lovely staff. Had great communication with them before arrival and they were very accomodating. Breakfast was great and I had a good stay. would recommend to friends. Its quite far from the city center but its only a short bus ride on the O line :)

This hostel is really good in terms of view as it is located on the top of a hill, but a bit far away from the city centre and you have to take a tram to get there. The staff there is really nice and helpful, but I don't understand why they charge a 10 euro deposit for a heavy... More

Had a fantastic time here, the staff was great and very helpfull, very nice food to get, the rooms was very clean, i felt it was better than most cheap hotels in the uk. It would be very nice if they would have a tv in the rooms so you can relax in the room, would recomend to other people!!!

After visiting a few Youth Hostels across Europe, we had our expectations quite high, but this particular Youth Hostel was a bit of a let down. The hostel is easy to locate once you get down from U15 and has some good views of Stuttgart from the entrance area and also from the rooms (depending on which room you get).... More

This place was okay but nothing special. The hostel is located up a hill and although this makes it difficult to get to without taking the train (U15), there are some pretty good views over Stuttgart. The hostel seemed fairly quiet when I visited and there were hardly any young people to be seen, meaning it was not really an... More

We visited this hostel with a party of ten Dutch students. Very nice view of the valley/inner city of Stuttgart from the lobby and restaurant. Robust interior and furniture as one would expect in a youth hostel. Clean, modern and well equipped when it comes to sanitary etc. What I personally liked that it was not too hot or dry... More

Interesting location - you have a great view of the city from the hill. The way on foot from the city centre is exhausting, but it takes about 15 minutes, so it's not that bad. Rooms are fine, but I have seen more space in German youth hostels. Shower floor was always filled with water which did not disappear quick.... More

We've been there for more than 10 times, it is wonderful! Maybe one of the best hostel we've ever been! It has a great view on Stuttgart downtown, nevertheless it is closed to Hauptbahnhof or any public transports. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are in the room and they are very confortable. Breakfast is wonderful, bigger than hostel standard. Prices are... More

After I spent two nights in Frankfurt, I stayed in Stuttgart for one night. First impression: so many hostels are at the top of a hill....aaaaaaaaaaargh... well I could have taken the streetcar and the tram stop is really close to the hostel, so I guess it's my own fault. The upside is: there is green all around the hostel... More
