The Abacco in Münchingen is in the middle of an industrial zone and clearly caters mainly for business travellers and seminar participants. You would not come here for the views but since it is just off the autobahn it is convenient for the surrounding area. The location is next to a highway. I spent two days on a seminar there and saw it as a necessity - I wouldn't stay there privately. The rooms seem overpriced for the quality provided. The food was ok, although you shouldn't have great expectations.

Spent half an hour driving around looking for somewhere after I went to the Porsche museum only to find it closed 10 minutes beforehand. Stayed for three nights mid-week. Room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. Food in the hotel bar was good but not elaborate. Complaints: 1) Internet access is a hassle.
