Have stayed at GZ many times but they did not have a room for one of my nights so I tried HAS. Worked out extremely well. HAS, although appearing new from the outside has an old world feel in side. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with wood furniture. The room service I had was the absolute best I... more

My boyfriend and I just returned from Europe last night. We decided very late in the game that we wanted to go to Oktoberfest, so we had to get creative with flights and do some training from city to city....so from Munich we trained to Stuttgart before flying to Amsterdam for a night, then home to Minnesota. We didn't really... more

unfortunately the awarded restaurant is closed in August, remains only the Brasserie, prices correct but only German wines at the menu. Rooms cleaned and spacious however quite old, by example they still didn't invest in flat TV. No bellboy which is strange for a 5 stars hotel more

We arrived in Stuttgart in very bad stormy weather. The bellhop saw us coming but instead of helping us with our luggage when our cab pulled in, he went inside the hotel. We didn't see him again until after we finished checking in. Bad start. Check-in was quick and efficient. Our "deluxe" room was dated, the old TV had bad... more

I visited this hotel end of March 2009. I must say that I expected much more from the hotel. Room rate was 155Eur breakfast not included, quite expensive. Breakfast was 25Eur, expensive.... My feeling was that the Hotel could not live up to a Luxury hotel expectation. Staff was friendly but the rooms small and not very well cleaned. Very... more

This is a very good hotel with excellent acomodation. The room is above average in size but there is something that let me and my wife very surprised: In the first day, we went to the bathroom and there were a lot of shampoos and others. We spent these things and in the second day, they putted all again !... more

This is not the first time I have stayed at the Schlossgarten. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the staff remembered me. I felt as though it was home from home. The room was spotless, and as usual the breakfast buffet was amazing. i highly recommend it as a base for a visit to Stuttgart more

Great place to stay in Stuttgart. Location + staff are great -- I do agree with one reviewer - they need a doorman. Interior of hotel and rooms is top rate. more

i honestly cannot understand the carping of some of the other reviews. This is an excellent, pretty, comfortable hotel- it is not the Villa d'Este, folks, nor does it claim to be! It is definitely a luxury hotel by European standards- chocolates, bathrobes, telephone and hair-dryer in the bathroom, etc. Also, there is absolutely no smoking in the lobby, since... more

For a first time guest, of advanced age (I am 80), I was pampered from the first moment I set foot on the premises to the last, 24 hours later. Reception was well-informed, got me a best ticket for a sold-out ballet performance at the Opera, upgraded me to a park view room, got my luggage, small as it was,... more
