Ok its cheap and you get what you pay for , but taking in to account the last place I stayed in was a converted prison which was great , this place is just terrible . The hotel is average , you get what you pay for. The location is right next to the main station which was useful ,... More

There have been quite a few negative reviews of this hotel but even after reading them I was not put off from booking it for a recent trip to Stuttgart. We needed somewhere near to the train station and something that wasn't going to break the budget. This hotel fits the bill perfectly. Yes, true the rooms are quite outdated... More

Me and my mate stayed here for 1 Friday night, part of a weekend break in Germany (went to Munich next night). Hotel fine as far as it goes, receptionist helpful as a double room had been booked and we wanted a twin. Pillows v poor but everything else ok. Fine for the money you pay.

I came back in this Hotel after one year and each stay was a disapointed. The staff was unprofessionel and the rooms were bad. When we asked the staff at our first arrival that we wanted to check-in, she told us to wait, that she was busy and that she had only two hands and one head. Although rooms are... More

We stayed at the Hotel Rieker for it's situation (handy for all amenities) and sentimental reasons. We hoped for not too many changes but there were hardly any at all after 30 plus years! It is really just a place to sleep, no bar, restaurant, minimum on staff on reception, no tea, coffee making facilties etc. Rooms need revamping. It... More

one block from train station. nice people at the front desk. I was in room 406 facing Friedrichstrasse, it was hot and had to open the 2 sets of double pane windows and the noise from the street was unbearable. ON the second day the front desk clerk lent me her fan. did not try breakfast.

Clean, old, cramped room, rather cleap, central. Big issue, extremely hard matrass. Tip, Several bakeries around, much cheaper and probably better than breakfast in hotel. Parking is expensive, which i can understand as it is highly central.

We stayed at this hotel when attending the Porsche Masters Tennis Tournament. Just be careful when booking a Queensize room as you will find it really small, in fact not big enough for a Queensize bed !!! Also, ask for extra pillows as the ones in the rooms fold up into the size of your head and will not be... More

Noise not abated by windows hardly at all. Had to jam tp into showerhead holder because it would spin around to shower the wall unless you held onto it. The heater was a radiator with a control valve, whose function could be described as dubious at best. Clean. Good breakfast.
