Well located (next to the Vaihingen Train (S and U Bahn) station) with shopping and restaurants located within walking distance. The rooms are very nice and comfortable with a reasonable mini bar. Internet is by either hard line or wireless. Some good views of the local area. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel restaurant is great for... more

We just returned today from Stuttgart, which after our experiences we will not visit again. As for the hotel, we stayed there one night. My husband and I chose it because we had a flight at 7pm and a 6-month-old baby and they offered a good option with late check out at 4pm. We arrived late from Basel with lots... more

The hotel is a short train ride from Stuttgart and immediately outside of the station, so easy to drag your bags with you. It was convenient for us as we were visiting friends in the suburbs and the hotel was about 5 minutes from their house, but it was still easy to get in to Stuttgart for restaurants and shopping.... more

Medium sized rooms with great views from the higher floors. The beds seem to be getting a little worn in respect that they clearly show 2 distinct indentations on the mattress, however they are comfortable. The pillows on the other hand, are feather and though I don't doubt they are expensive, offer no support and are ineffective. These pillows are... more

Very nice hotel with excellent check in services. Expensive taxi from airport (25€) and no shuttle although certain websites state shuttle service is available. I am sure you can take the train as the station is right outside the hotel and it is probably much less expensive... The pool area is fantastic and totally clothing free. You can swim in... more

Very nice hotel. Modern Rooms, bathrooms, etc. The staff were very friendly and spoke multiple languages, so no worries if you are not fluent in German. I stayed for a 5 day business trip and found it to be one of the better hotel stays I've had in Germany. The bar area was small but nice and well attended by... more

Nice hotel. Very small bathroom. Only English speaking tv were CNN, BBC World and CNBC. There is a room for computer use off the lobby (one computer). It seemed to be in use a lot by cabin crew from various airlines so isn't easy to get acces to. Interent access from your own computer is VERY expensive. There is a pool/sauna.... more

Very nice hotel. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly, albeit a little clone-like. If you don't mind staying outside the city center, this is a great location. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn are right next to the hotel and just a few stops from the city center. more

I stayed at the Mecure Fontana for two weeks in Feb 2008. This is my second extended stay at this hotel during the last year. Both stays were pleasant. The hotel staff, including the bartender Stephon, were very nice and spoke good English. The hotel is conveniently located at the Vainaghn Bahnhof station. It has access to the S and... more

I stayed there from April 18 - 23, 2007. My room was clean and comfortable. House keeping personnel were very efficient but not intrusive. The staff overall was helpful and friendly. All spoke very good English. One point they could clariy was the availability of irons/ironing boards. I called the desk and asked for one and was told to go... more
