We had a short stay here whilst sightseeing in Stuttgart. Our room on the 5th floor was large, comfortable and quiet. It lacked little extras such as minature toiletries which are often unnecessary but it was spotlessly clean and functional. The breakfast buffet was superb with a very varied choice of fresh and appetising food and this was definitely the... More

I booked this hotel after reading the reviews here and I have to say I was disappointed from my stay… I was in a room on the top - 5th - floor which was large, really large but virtually EMPTY! The beds seem to be part of the furniture, folding up into the wardrobe, no reading light, no socket nearby,... More

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your post. It is right, that we have combined board- and bedrooms where the beds are indeed integrated into the furniture. We use these rooms only if we are fully booked and also try to inform our guests in advance about this situation. We are very sorry and apologize for the caused inconveniences... More

I have stayed in the Maritim Stuttgart for the past eight years, one week each summer. My host organization picks up the tab, so I can't give an opinion about whether my host is getting good value for the expense. The fact that I have been put in the same hotel eight years in a row would imply that my... More

I was at this hotel for a meeting. It is very nice and had great food for the meals and conference. The room was large by European standards with all the standard things you would expect. It is a bit expensive, but caters primarily to business travellers. My rate varied from 99 to 159 Euros per night, depending on the... More

Stayed here for a brief one night stopover while waiting for an early morning flight. Was quite satisfied with the stay, based on the rate we paid. Notes: - Centrally located on the south edge of the main University campus. 15 minute walk south of the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). Close to main city centre shopping streets. - Rooms are... I stayed in the Maritim hotel during the R+T fair in Stuttgart (29/2 - 2/3). Location of the hotel quite good. You can take a 10 minute walk to the Stadmitte S-bahn station, or you can walk 3 minutes to Berliner Platz and take the U-bahn to Stadmitte.Reception area is quite impressive. From the first moment you can feel you... More

The other reviews sum up comprehensively the pros and cons of this hotel and I won't repeat it all. Just two things. a) I got a very nice suite, but even though there was a separate bedroom with its own air condition it was TOO HOT. There was a warning on the window saying the air condition wouldn't work if... More

Stayed here for business.. friendly staff, good location, rooms were clean, the only downside is that the rooms are slightly outdated, which wasn't a huge issue for me since I spent minimal time in the hotel. But would definitely stay here again. More

We are a couple in our 60..s . Arrived here after 6 hours of driving in a snow blizzard from Zalzburg. Quite a hustle to go through the building, go down 2 floors, go up six floor... Nice though was to find a very large king size bed with ONE duvet (Comforter), a large one. It was the first we... More

Lovely Spacious hotel. Rooms very clean with lovely feather pillows and duvet. Room was a bit on the warm side, the air con didn't really help, just had to open the window. There was plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast with nice comfy seating. Great piano bar open until late, which was great for meeting with friends. Overall a... More
