The Maritim seems to be one of the very few PL choices in Stuttgart. I have stayed three times in different rooms. Location: not in the real center - 10 minutes walk or 4 minutes to Tram + 2min drive. Area is OK, some bars & restaurants in the "Bosch Areal" next door. Rooms: Here we have true retro style.... more

We arrived late at this hotel we were with Great rail journeys no time to look at Stuttgart but what a superb hotel the staff were a class above our other hotels on this journey. The food and choices in the restaurant were a joy to behold we had a magnificent late evening meal and the staff were still smilling... more

Arrived tired after long train-ride from Venice. We had a late and reasonable if unexciting group dinner which was served by agreeable staff. Good local wine reasonably priced. Room was comfortable and we had a quiet night. There was a huge minibar. The bathroom was OK except that for a 4-star hotel there were few of the extras some hotels... more

The hotel rooms are as old fashioned as can be - look like from the fifties without any makeover. Staff was not to kind at check-in. Breakfast was really great. There are much better (and cheaper) hotels in Stuttgart. more

I stayed at this hotel with my partner last September to see the Ireland v Germany soccer match. The hotel was booked through the company arranging the trip. The hotel is a bit away from the main sights in Stuttgart, but only a few steps away from a tram stop which will bring you anywhere you need to go. We... more

This was a nice hotel located near a complex of cinemas, restaurants and a concert hall. It is a bit of a walk to the city itself, but trams/light rail is not too far. It's very convenient if you are attending a concert at the nearby Beethovensaal Liederhalle (about a minute's walk). The TV comes with the standard mix of... more

Stayed at the Maritim on business in March '07. Nice rooms great lobby with restaurants bars and salons. Walking distance to the KoenigStrasse shopping district. Beer gardens, Coffee shops and a Grocer in a plaza across the street. About a 27 Euro cab ride to the Airport. Staff were excellent with friendly service. I had an excellent breakfast buffet included... more
