Stayed here with a coach tour. Not overly impressed. Put in a smoking room at first which was rather awful but our tour director changed that for us very quickly. Probably in need of a bit of an upgrade. Dinner was very ordinary. Not one of the best hotels we stayed at. more

I stayed at the Maritim on several occasions between 2004 and 2006 and to be honest - hated each time. The standard of maintenance medium to low, last renovation must have been in the 70s or 80s. Firstly I was surprised to find the hotel in such a busy urban setting, having been slightly misled by the TripAdvisor masthead photo, which has been carefully posed and cropped to show the park but not the traffic and other buildings. I stayed at the Maritim last year and am now back again. There is excellent access to public transportation that will take you around locally and within Europe (major train station 5 minutes walk away, local right across the street)as well as great restaurants, shopping, etc. all within 2 minutes walking distance. People here are nice and speak good English.... more
