Located casual 15 minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof alongside a pretty park, about 20 minute walk from the town centre -- palace, shopping, and on a main tram line. The staff was very friendly and helpful, free fast WIFI, nifty bar (half price on the evening I was there). The room was large enough, comfortable, with an espresso machine, good... More

Santo is a small hotel in an acceptable location not far from the city centre of Karlsruhe. The rooms are functional, ok in size and with all amenities needed for a short stay. In my road facing room traffic was audible, but didn't disturb my sleep. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Service is friendly. Breakfast buffet is extensive and very... More

This hotel is a very acceptable place for a one night business stay. The rooms are small but have all the essentials including free Wifi for as many devices as you want, a safe, a comfortable bed and an OK bathroom - though the "marble" sinks look disturbingly corpse-like. The lobby decor is hideous and the basement italian restaurant barely... More

the hotel is very good. my room was nice and spacious. the breakfast, was very good for a 4 star hotel. staff was very nice to me during my stay. the hotel is between the center and the train station, which is very convinient. great choice that I recommend. there was free expresso and coffee, in the lobby, excellent.

A convenient hotel for a stay in Karlsruhe. Free parking on roof which was okay. A bit of a chore to drive up to and out of. Staff was attentive. Coffee maker for cappacino and regular coffee available all day in lobby. Lobby appointed with marble. Rooms, public hallways were clean. Room a little small but quiet. Most wonderful breakfast... We had one of the suites in the hotel. It was spacious, but also in need of severely over-time maintenance. All furniture needed new covers, for instance. Although the bathroom was quite big, there was no bath and the shower cabin was tiny. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.

Hotel looked great on the website but in reality it is not that good under the surface. Our hotel room No 200 was tiny and the curtains didn't fit to cover the entire windows, resulting in having to turn out all the lights when getting undressed and early morning awakening due to the light flooding in. Very noisy due to... More

It's a fake 4* hotel as are the armchairs and the sofa in the hallway which look comfortable but are made of plastic and you can hurt yourself if you sit down too fast. Reception workers displaying a patronizingly superior attitude, it's not a way to treat the guests. When they made a huge mistake instead of a sincere apology... More

I have got not so positive impression about this hotel. I visited it in January 2013 and spent there just few nights during the business trip, but I would prefer next time to look for another place. So, let's start from positive sides: - good place, not far from the center - free parking - free wifi - more-less good... More

We were happy to learn that a bigger room is available for us with no extra charge. Staff was very friendly and nice. Parking is free if you park on the roof of the building; paid if you park in the basement. Location is also good.
