We stayed here instead of Frankfurt as we had few meetings in Karlsruhe. Nice location, just opposite tram station. Good breakfast with lot of options for vegetarians also. In the heart of the city. We stayed for 3 days and it was all pleasant. I will recommend for business and personal travellers.

Stayed twice for a week during the assignment in Germany. The lifts are scary and show years of service. Rooms are OK, nothing to write home about though. The hotel is located next to shopping centre and gym complex.

As a platinum Marriott member, I found this hotel very comfortable. It did lack a concierge level which was disappointing. The free breakfast was nice but did not include anyone else in my group & it cost 20 euros which is really expensive. There wasn't any place close by to eat breakfast. The tram stops right across from the hotel... More

As a Marriott Executive Platinum Premier level guest I stay in many Marriott brand hotels around the world. This one is one of the best in Southern Germany. The rooms are spacious and clean with all amenities and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is centrally located and because of this it is very easy to stay here... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for business. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was located within the city limits so most things were within easy walking distance. As crazy as this might sound, the hotel's restaurant was actually quite good. The tomato soup was delicious and the regular cheeseburger was out of... More

The front desk staff is really well trained. They accommodated us almost right away although we arrived very early and the hotel was totally booked. We had a baby and therefore many additional requests- they really tried to do everything for us, that you! The location is great - a supermarket across the street, an ATM next door, only a... More

Stayed here for a night to see what Karlsruhe has to offer, which, surprisingly, was a lot! The hotel is about 1 km from the city center, completely walkable with plenty of sights to see in between. Free street parking around the block, although one side is pay parking on workdays (which includes Saturday here). U-bahn station right outside the... More

The staff is extraordinarily nice, but - the room did not get made - there were hair on the bed when I arrived - the paid for wi-fi (not cheap) is useless in the room so all in all, not a convincing experience. Not a big town, but these things should work...

decent hotel with good restaurant but poor wifi and average beds. I wouldnt stay here again. the quality of the room service food was pretty poor although the restaurant is actually very good. There must be better hotels in Karlsruhe. I pitty anyone who pays for there near useless wifi.

Dear Graham D, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at the Renaissance Karlsruhe Hotel with us. It is a nice hotel situated 5 minutes walking distance from the centre of the town. The rooms are clean and with nice furniture but small. The room are quiet. The breakfast is perfect. The free wi-fi is terrible, better not use it. The services are good but the personal is not very much experienced.
