We spent almost 4 weeks in Germany and by far this was our favorite hotel (and we stayed at a Hilton). Great things: the staff. Very helpful and friendly. They helped me to print documents that I needed for work. They also explained where to find a particular store downtown and they helped me with public transportation (timetable and tickets.)... More

I booked this hotel last minute as a quick weekend getaway with a friend. We booked 2 separate single rooms, and both were very spacious, clean and came with free wifi. My first impressions were a little mixed as I couldn't shake off the feeling of deja vu... it was like walking into a University campus with a art deco... More

We spent a night there in a family room which was positively huge! It even had a small microwave. The receptionists both at check-in and check-out were efficient, nice and helpful. One saw that my kids wanted to play the wii by the reception and rushed to show them how to put it on. Breakfast display was fabulous, plentiful and... More

It was a mini heat wave when I arrived at the Aviva - and the small rooms combined with the lack of aircon combined to give a pretty poor nights sleep - just too hot and airless. If it had been a cool night, then the small room wouldn't have been a problem, I suspect, so I dont want to... More

We had booked a family room but were given two doubles - all fine except only net curtains so glad it was a weekend and there were no office people in the building opposite. The gym, sauna and steam were so relaxing and well equipped. We had pizzas in the lounge which were excellent and the buffet breakfast was excellent-... More

The Hotel aviva has very friendly staff and the location is ok.surrounded by officebuildings the area doesn't have much charme. My room was really clean, but we had the toilet and the bathroom in our bedroom, just seperated with glas.so you HAD to watch the person you shared the room with taking a shower or using the toilet, cause it was no seperate... Helpfull staff, large rooms (for 3) and a proper, tasty breakfast included...The wifi worked well, parking is easy, we look forward to staying here after a long drive they are always welcoming and could not be more helpful...their language skills putting us to shame with our... Stayed here for 1 night in Aug and we thought the hotel was great. Very helpfull staff, clean and tidy reception area where we had a good breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and modern only thing it lacked was air con. We will stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights last year. The hotel is of a good standard, and staff very friendly and helpful (even when dealing with dripping wet motorbikers). Continental breakfast only, but loads of it. Hotel is just outside the centre of the city so is quiet at night, but is close enough to get a cheap taxi into the centre.... More

° Breakfast is the worst ever, all processed food. ° Wireless is not working properly or at all. ° The Hotel is at the end of the world, rather pay 5 Euros more and stay in the middle of Karlsruhe. ° Toilet and shower are essentially in the room, try having some privacy. ° I asked for a bathtub, not...
