Splendid small hotel near Station and Theatre. Basic but comfortable, and very good value. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. If arriving after 2100, you need to phone and get a code to pick up the key from a box beside the hotel. My niece and I stayed for 7 nights on a business trip. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room had two twin-beds and was very clean. Stayed in Karlsruhe using the Barbarossa as our base while attending the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim.
