The location is in a nice neighborhood away from the tourist masses. It's above the restaurant (very good food) with no elevator so anyone with mobility problems should not stay here. The Hotel Krokodil is a nice little place for your stay in Heidelberg. Nothing fancy, something of a plain Jane kind of place. Just returned from staying there for 2 nights. Our room was 105 right above the kitchen downstairs which serves excellent dinner (salads, pizza, german entries,...)and pub which stays open til midnite. We were in bed every day by 10pm but just couldn't sleep with all the noise from the restaurant (outside seating's voices echoes between the bldgs)and the kitchen noise... More
