The suite was really nice. Hardwood floors, a seperate little area with a couch. The bathroom was small, as are most in Europe. Located on the fourth floor, you do have to go up and down the steps each day, as there's no elevator. No room service, or even a phone in the room to call anyone for service, although... more

We're just recently back from a 3 night stay in the Dubliner Hotel, i went with my partner and friends, this was my first time to stay there after hearing so much about it from my friends who had stayed here last year and also came back with us this year. On arriving to the Dubliner my first impressions were... more

This hotel is located above a pub so noise is definately a factor. I was prepared for the pub noise but not prepared for the trash pick up at 7am in the morning - very loud. Also, parking is in a garage a couple blocks away and cost you about 11 euro a night. I believe you can park on... more

My wife and I booked this gem and had no issues sleeping in our room (suite, third floor, room 8, €100) which has white-washed walls, a shower, sink and toilet as well as a closet, love seat and table (see photos). You can open the door and step out onto the balcony overlooking the Hauptstraße and kip the window as... more

First of all I want to say we are a young couple in our late 20's and we do enjoy partying and having a few drinks. We also like to come back to our room and have peace and quiet when were finished. It felt like we never left the bar. We rented a double room which was on the... more

Perhaps the not the first place that comes to mind when looking for accommodation in Heidelberg is an Irish pub, but this place really isn't bad at all. The pub is located right on the main pedestrian street through the old town of Heidelberg, smack bang in the centre. All the rooms, reached by stairs only from the back of... more

Just wanted to let the hotel guest know that the song on the window is the Irish national anthem, in Irish and English so people can get a better understanding. Regards, Niall

Had a 3 night stay here during August 2008. Absolutely unbeatable for location, right in the centre of the old town. We had the top floor suite, with a view of the castle (see pic). The room itself is large and while it's true that the bathroom is small, we hadn't been planning on playing tennis in there! It's fine... more

The hotel is right in the heart of the Old Town. We rented the suite and had a great view of the castle from the balcony. The room is comfortable and large, but the bathroom is very small. There was no soap either, so we had to end up using the shampoo that was provided to wash our hands. The... more

Okay - here's the good. Very clean property, well maintained with many other positive characteristics. Liked it a lot, due to its extremely close proximity to the pedestrian area. Walk out of the hotel and you are where you want to be and where the action is. Okay - now the bad. Due to its extremely close proximity to the... more
