When we arrived at Hauptstrasse the street was cramful with all kinds of people. In the same building there was a restaurant facing the street and beergarden facing the opposite. I´m sensitive to noise and a truly light sleeper with bad luck it seemed. But both the restaurant and the beergarden closes 11:00 P:M and besides that when you closed... More

Parking is a nightmare! Dump your cases first, as it is public underground parking 1/4 mile away. Is a hard place to get to, even on motorbikes Great location, but utterly inpractical for the motor traveller Themed rooms are a quirky idea that really work. Excellent standards of decor and cleanliness No views as such but after a long ride... More

Stayed here on our way from UK to Poland. Great location for the town's many restaurants and bars - right on one of the cobbled main roads. Need to park elsewhere, not too far, but if carrying luggage be warned. You can drop off in the street, but it feels odd as essentially pedestrian area with access only. Rooms are... More

We didn't stay here had we of known of it we would definitely have stayed here, it is oldie worldly decorated and themed, we were in a party of 6 and used the restaurant, the waiting staff are very good very friendly and speak amongst several languages we noticed perfect English. The menu is very varied with plenty of choice,... More

We stayed on a very hot June night and the room was so hot. The bedding was still made with heavy winter quilts. The pillows were full of air and made sleeping impossible. Theme rooms are fun, but not at the expense of comfort.

All rooms have there own signatures by the famous cities in the world, very lovely. I stayed in "Rome" unit. It is very clean and comfortable. The location is very good for shopping. I will back to stay other units again.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel, which is in the street where you can see the city easily by foot. This hotel has decorated it's rooms by themes. We had the marakesh room and it was really really beautiful. If you are a couple looking for a romantic stay, then this is the place. In this room you also... More

I travel to Heidelberg frequently and love this boutique hotel. It is located in the center of the Altstadt (old city) with it's front entrance in the Hauptstrasse (Main Street). In old Heidelberg days this was the main street. Today it is restricted to pedestrian traffic and the ideal place to be. At Christmas time, the Christmas market is just... More

Easy to find, we drove into old town unpacked car and parking was 5 mins away. This hotel in the middle of the old town, perfect position . They offered us a welcome drink. Very helpful staff. Lovely rooms all themed very well.

Quirky boutique hotel right on Hauptstraße, in the heart of the Aldstadt, so its location is perfect for visiting the old town and getting to the castle. Getting to the hotel from the train station, however, can be tricky. If you can't get a taxi outside (I couldn't, there were none), the number 32 bus which stops just outside the... More
