We, being a family of four, stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be very good for the price we paid. The room was massive and the bathroom was very clean and a good size. The hotel is located very close to restaurants and the Schloss and the staff are happy to assist where possible. Parking... More

Heidelberg is generally an old town so do not expect very new buildings especially in this region of the town(which is in the centre). The hotel is an old building that seems to be renewed or conserved in order to keep the traditional character of the town. But this of course has its worth. We spent as family whole 5... More

Overall an excellent hotel for the price. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the typical german breakfast is really well prepared and presented. This is not a "modern" hotel but it has old world charms and the bathroom/shower facilities are all new and of an excellent quality. If you are looking for something with standard "packaging" I suggest... More

The worst hotel in your last trip to Europe. The hotel is really old, but this is not the problem if it was kept in good condition... We were in room 4, which is quite big. But you can hear every step from the room above us and, to make it worse, the chandelier from our room shook as the... More

We had one night in Heidelberg at the Hotel Elite. We were in their "quadriple" room -- it had beds enough to sleep 5! The lower than "excellent" rating is only because of the quality of the beds -- kind-of hammock like. But all the amenities were there -- a small fridge, wi-fi, TV (which we didn't watch at all... We have travelled for 3 weeks in Germany and France, this is the worst hotel in terms of room facilities. The staff were very nice and warm, but rooms were really bad. The rooms lacked of maintanance and design, furniture was old. We had a triple room, the three beds were quite close to each other, and the last bed... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my mum and auntie recently and we had a room with 3 single beds. The room itself was clean (although not perfect- but clean) and cosy and the bathroom modern. The only downsides to the room were the super squeeky floorboards and the shower has a timer which was a surprise (although if... More

A very old hotel split over two for storey houses, on each side of the road. Very helpful receptionist. Rooms large with huge old windows, but the curtains would not pull closed and needed ironing. Other wise very clean, good breakfast and very central for exploring the city.

We were only here for one evening and were put in a 'penthouse' room which was really small but fine for one evening, thankfully! One thing I thought they could add was a shower gel pump - actually in the shower. For some reason it was placed by the sink so if you need more you either have to pour... More

We had a nice and wide triple room and a good breakfast in the garden........The lack of an elevator can be a problem if you have a room at the higher floors aand a small baby or heavy luggage. The position allows you to walk to the center. Cleaness could be improved............
