Situated not far from the autobahn, previously a Holiday Inn, friendly welcome, no free wifi and parking had to be paid for, which was disappointing. We were room only, so cannot comment on the restaurant. Room was a reasonable size. There is a bus stop situated just outside the hotel, opposite the petrol station, which will take you to Heidelberg... More

From the beautiful entrance to the hotel, I expected the room to be a bit better!!! I was disappointed to say the least... the room looked nice upon entrance but soon found that the door on the ridiculously small shower didnt close properly, the beds were very cheaply made-looked like someone couldn't be bothered making them! And the pillows were... More

Not close enough to the city center for us. The hotel was modern. The breakfast service as AMAZING! We really like the man who seated us for breakfast, he was so funny! We stayed two nights here and enjoyed the hotel and staff but feel it needs to be modernized and re-done. The carpets were tired as well as the... More

The room is clean enough, and the bathroom typical - Dove shampoo and soap, no amenities. Wireless is not complementary and anyway it does not work. Restaurant is ... So-so and quite sad, nothing else available close-by (unless you want to drive or hike to city-center). No air-conditioning, but (bonus) the window is large and can open to let in... More

first of all the staff are pleasant and really helpful our room was spotless, it has a small gym and sauna which is good for a quick workout, there is wifi and it is not cheap but if you are going to be there for a while fill in the members brochure for the hotel chain on the front desk... More

We were touring through Germany and didn't like the look of Hamburg so headed to Heidelberg, Leonardos was the first hotel we saw on the main drag through, receptionist was really nice and friendly when we asked for 2 doubles and 2 singles or a twin @ 5pm we were shocked when she said they could accommodate us and could... I was traveling for work, and thus used a company selected location. This location is great for work travel, but not near anything scenic if you are traveling on vacation. The hotel is located a few minutes from the scenic areas of Heidelberg, which requires driving and finding parking.

This relatively cheap and cheerful hotel, in a good stopover location and with friendly staff, was let down by a kettle that caused milk to curdle. I suspect that this may have been due to the kettle descalant as this is usually acidic and would cause this effect. However, the rooms were comfortable, although small and with a chipped enamel... I like to travel without reservations. Call me crazy, but that's what I do. I got into town with family in mid-July and we needed three rooms. They were able to accommodate us. This hotel was about a 10 minute ride from the train station, and you can take the bus to get into and out of the city center.... More

Paid 48 euro for night through trivago, which was much cheaper than everywhere else in Heidelberg. The parking was 8 euros overnight which is cheaper than it states on the website. Big clean room. Was out of way of town though, not walking distance.
