It was the most American-like hotel we stayed in during our week in Germany, so we felt very at home there. It was a good distance from the old city, so be prepared to do some walking or take a taxi. We did not have a meal there, so I can't comment on the food.

Great rooms, quite posh and comfortable !! Some common areas of the hotel need attention. Outside the city, but easy to reach. Brekfast was OK. Some rooms have a good view of the river. Staff were quite friendly and helpful.

I am still on my quest for a hotel room in Germany that has it's own air conditioning. This week I booked the Marriott Heidelberg after a disastrous trip two weeks ago in Frankfurt at the Maritim hotel. I thought that by booking an 'American' hotel, I could get a nice cool room. The Marriott Heidelberg has a nice location... More

Nice accommodation like any other Marriott hotels. To my surprise there is no safe deposit box for valuables in the room. Great hotel to stay. One has to pay for WiFi. I wish this is also included like any other hotel in Europe. Of course I had internet in my phone but I wish I had WIFi free for my... More

This is the best hotel I have stayed in Heidelberg so far. The location is quite central, near the river and you can walk to the city center (not very close but we still made it). Hotel restaurant is quite good, especially enjoyed the breakfast options. Next time I visit Heidelberg for business I will definitely return back to Marriott.

My family of five stayed at the Heidelberg Marriott two weeks ago. We had a very nice stay. We reserved two rooms - one with a king bed, the other with a queen and a rollaway for my three teens. We got a nice rate with my AAA membership, and received river view rooms because I have Marriott Rewards Gold... More

Stayed at the Marriot during a coach tour, what a gem! Extremely comfortable room and firm king bed with lots of extras included. Very attractive hotel on the Nectar River, lovely garden verandah, short stroll into town. Buffet breakfast the very best, wonderful variety for all tastes. Staff very helpful and friendly, thank you! Well done Marriot! Heidelberg a gorgeous... More

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights on our 2 week adventure. We opted for the executive rooms which allowed us free access to the lounge. It cost around $50 more, but felt it was worth it. First of all, the room was very nice, updated and very Euro. Modern and simple design. It had a mini fridge where we... More

5 blocks from the train station, two blocks from the bus and trans. The old town with all the shops and restaruants is a 20 block walk. Take the bus or tram for 2 Euro each way to get to old town. Eat a restaurants near the pedestrian bridge with the white towers off the main street in old town.... More
