The hotel is smaller and quite quaint, it has a beautiful lobby and dining area, the staff are great as is the owner, Peter. Warm, friendly and very hospitable. In a great location for exploring the old town. I have been fortunate to stay here on two trips to Heidelberg with my beautiful girlfriend, thus the title "Love nest", as... more

Loved this hotel, Peter, the owner is wonderful and extremely helpful. The breakfast is very good. The location is great, as we were able to take a short walk to the pedestrian shopping area, as well as the castle and river. Perfect place to stay while visiting Heidelburg. more

This is a small but nice hotel just off the main shopping street, which incidently runs parallel to the river. At the other end (a 15 to 20 in walk) of the street is the little street that runs down to the famous and beautiful bridge. The hotel has its own car park (not free) just around the corner. Might... more

Extremely pleasant hotel right on the edge of the Altstadt - this will definitely be my first choice place to stay if (or rather when) I go back to Heidelberg. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated with stone pedestals and column toppers imaginatively incorporated into the furniture! Very comfortable bed, satellite tv and hassle-free wireless internet. The staff are the hotel's... more

Heidelberg was my base for several nights during the Christmas Market season. As a mature female, traveling solo, I spent quite a bit of time researching hotels for my visit. My criteria included: small hotel, attentive staff, elevator, convenient to both public transportation and the historic Alstadt. Also, I did not want a tiny single room. From studying the map,... more

Better than being at home. Every guest is treated like a king/queen. The owner (Peter) is personality PLUS! My favorite hotel ever because of Peter and his staff! more

We began a four week vacation in the South of Germany here at the Nassuaer Hof staying for three nights last year (2002). For the rest of the month we compared the breakfasts at each new hotel to the ones we had here, they were that good. The location of the hotel is excellent - about one block away from... more
