This is a convenient, well-run and well-located small 3-star hotel. The hotel has been modernized fairly recently, and is on the Neckar River in the new part of Heidelberg, but adjacent to the old town. The staff is professional and very friendly. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had, with fresh fruit, smoked fish, and... More

Well located for transport, the old town and enjoying lovely views of the river this well maintained and spotlessly clean hotel was very comfortable and friendly. Breakfast was well presented and offered a wide range of items. There is a small lounge with bar. Towelling robes and slippers were unexpected extras in the bedroom. Good value and well recommended.

This hotel was recommended by business associates for my first stay in Heidelberg. I was there 2 weeks last year and returned for a week this year, ironically in the same room. My rate included the room, parking, breakfast, and WiFi. I had a great corner room with a view of the river on one side and a view of... More

Returned to Heidelberg after 12 years and we had a lovely stay at the Panorama Hotel. Great location for exploring the town and very central for getting trams to other towns. Room (deluxe) was spacious and very clean with a coffee machine. Only down sides were the extremely squeaky floors and no room safe. We were on the second floor... More

Unusual Breakfast: a variety of exotic fruits, the friendly staff, the hotel is located at the beginning of the main pedestrian street - convenient to walk around the city.A spacious bathroom with a set of necessary supplies for the bath. Spacious room with river view, friendly staff quickly solved our problems. I read review about noisy, but our room was... More

After the fact I'm sorry I was able to stay in Heidelberg for only one night, especially since it was a Monday, and many of the museums were closed. But also for the really fine hotel I discovered. The Panorama is only a short walk from the pedestrian zone. It sits right on the river (well, a road separates it... More

got room number 1 on the corner and its very noisy, from 4.30 you start having a lot of traffic and I could not sleep properly. For the rest hotel is good, free wifi and close to the center. But bring your hear plugs ..

We only stayed one night and were fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite, which was very spacious and comfortable with dual aspect view across and along the Neckar River. There was a coffee maker in the room, a complimentary bottle of water and a welcome chocolate treat. The room was spotlessly clean. As well as the bedroom with... More

Hotel Panorama is very different from other franchise hotels. The premises itself is very brightly painted and located on the edge of the river. It is only a short walk to town centre and the tram station. All the attractions are walkable from the hotel. The room is huge with 2 king single beds packed together. I think this could... More
