Hotel: Modern business hotel with spacious lobby with soaring cielings. ("industrial-transformation" look) Includes an active appealing restaurant and separate bar. Breakfast was first class - extensive offering to suit the large variety of business guests. Continues my impression of the dependable high-standard of NH hotels I have stayed at in Brussels and Amsterdam. Rooms: Very clean, spacious and included a... more

Very clean, friendly and efficient hotel. Rooms were well tended by chamber maids. Breakfast was a meal that could keep you going for a long time. However, you need to keep a good look-out, as the restaurant staff have a desire to remove any pots or utensils that they think you may have finished with - even if you havn't!... more

This used to be the authorized place to stay for the corp. I work for. Favorite feature: the healthy walk to and from Hauptstrasse and the great restaurants and shops there. Wonderful to get back from meetings in conference rooms all day, change clothes, and then have a healthy and safe walk to dinner and back. I enjoyed the restaurants... more

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Was a little apprenhensive after reading the previous reviews. We checked in around 2 pm and were given our room straight away. We got an upgrade free of charge which was fantastic. We got room 218 which we would highly recommend, as it is right at the end of the corridor and... more

When I arrived for my first night, I was given a horrible, horrbile room (room 251). It smelled of smoke (in-spite of a requesting a non-smoking room). I could clearly hear a man talking in the next room. There was no carpet or rugs in the room, just a wooden floor. The only chair in the room was a hard... more

I turned up at the NH having arrived at Heidelberg without booking a room for the night. I've stayed in an NH in Amsterdam before, and wasn't impressed - too many extras and a clean, but so dull room. Unfortunately my experience here was virtually identical. Staff were pleasant at the check in desk, my rate was ultra expensive, but... more

I was on a business trip to Germany and my collegue arranged this hotel since the Marriott had been booked. I had stayed at an NH hotel near Nuremburg so I thought this was a good option. Pros: this hotel is large and has many rooms; has a small gym facility, rooms are larger than normal Cons: It's quite a... more

This was a great hotel. Our room was large and all brand new. It is a corporate hotel, but a good price and a beautiful room. It is a bit of a walk from the old town (10 minutes), but very close to the train station. A great place to stay to see Heidelberg. more

I decided to stray from my usual Heidelberg accomodations due to the recommendation of a colleague and I am glad I did - I was in on business. This is really a lovely property. As other reviewers have noted this used to be a brewery which makes for unique architectural details. It was a bit of a challenge finding my... more

We try to stay at NH hotels whenever we are in Germany because the rooms are large and staff friendly. The NH Heidelberg is really a nice hotel. Very modern lobby area, underground parking (you pay for) and close walking to many restraunts and small stores. The main shopping area is approximatley 6 city blocks North of the hotel. The... more
