This hotel is located very near (or perhaps inside?) the marketplace, below the castle. Restaurant choices within walking distance are too numerous to count. The rooms range from extremely large to extremely small, and the building is quite old, but the furniture and shower equipment, etc were in fine working order. I would stay here again if in Heidelberg.

A not unpleasant little hotel. The staff were great, it's position first class and despite the city's best efforts to mess the parking up, it's not a long walk from the parking areas to the hotel. The rooms are somewhat small, and our bathroom minute but they were nicely refurbished and for just a couple of days fine. Only one... More

Stayed here as a group of 5 adults in 3 separate rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the beds were comfortable and the rooms clean and tidy and the hotel was close enough to the city centre to walk there. The décor was quite plain but that didn't bother us. The breakfast was pretty average, consisting of little more than... More

While this hotel is well situated it is really only very average as hotels go. rooms are quite spartan to say the least, though not without a certain charm in this area - more student than garret than hotel room. Mine (No 220 was quite cramped with a very small desk and no view except onto a narrow sidestreet. Bathroom... More

If you understand that the check in is in another hotel found the corner facing the river, then all is perfect after that. We were delighted by the hotel. No elevator but that is fine. We stayed on the first floor so once our suitcases were in the room no problems. The lady from reception actually took us to our... More

Our room was clean, simple, modern, recently reformed and had a great bathroom. Great location. A little bit noisy though. There is no elevator and reception is at another hotel in the corner. Free wifi worked without any problems.

Only 3 minutes from the old bridge and Heiliggeistkirche. The checkin reception is together with hotel vier Jahreszeiten which is around the corner, facing the river, Very friendly staffs. I could early check-in to the room (at noon). Baggage deposit after check-out worked also fine. The room was clean and new renovated. The breakfast was good. The staff gave eggs... More

We stayed for a week and it was lovely. Free Wifi helps a lot as does the location to many of Heidelbergs attractions. The buffet breakfast was very nice, and the evening meals are lovely and large portions. The rooms can get quite hot during summer and a rotating fan helps a bit. It can get noisy on the streets... The hotel's structure is a bit confusing: the entrance for the rooms is on one street but reception is in another one, just around the corner, in front of the river. Breakfast is served in the restaurant downstairs from the rooms building, and was ok. There's no parking, so you should park on Parking 12 (the one that the hotel... More

booked into this place after seeing it online and because of the price. however, when we got there we had to go around the corner to another hotel's entrance to find the registration desk. when we registered we had to pay for the 2 nights that we had initially indicated we were going to stay. when we got to our...
