Family of 6 toured Germany for 1 month. Thought this was a great hostel. Cons: Parking: Very confusing where to park so you don't get towed/ even with a pass. Pros: free wifi, Location to Zoo and nice river walk. Easy transit to old town. Washer and dryers available. Good food/ can buy supper meal for reasonable price

With 350 beds this is one of the biggest youth hostels I've visited. It is located not far from most medical facilities of Heidelberg University, there is a good bus connection from the station or city center and the bus stop is very close.
