My best hostel experience in Germany so far and among the best hostels I've been in the world. It's not brand new, but its definitely charming and clean. The shared bathroom is better than any hostel's bathroom I tried (clean, large, well equipped...). And... it event cheap ! It has a really good value for money. I do not know... More

I really love this place! Carmen is really really friendly and helpful. I arrived after 10 pm and she waited for me at the bus stop! Recommended loads of stuff to do in Heidelberg. Hiking, chilling, eating she knows everything!! You have to take a bus from bahnhof but everything you need to visit is not far. Atmosphere is great!... More

A big Thumbs up to everybody at Lotte. We had a great stay in July. Even though it is a Backpackers we felt at home. We are a mature couple and like the atmosphere, friendliness and meeting a lot of different people. We had a double room at the top ( no 8 ) it was a bit noisy but... More

This place was amazing! I'll try not to get too excited and speak with clarity. 15 min bus ride from Heidelberg Hbf, only about 50 feet from the bus stop. Super convenient. Easy to find. Walked in and was welcomed by Carmen, who I assume owns the place. She is awesome! Super nice, super welcoming. Having lived in South Carolina... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were warmly welcomed by Carmen who showed us to our room which was, I believe, the biggest of the three private rooms. It was very spacious and comfortable and opened into the shared kitchen which was extremely well equipped. The location couldn't be better for meandering around the old town. This... More

I had a total of four nights in this hostel. First off, its location is excellent. For communication, it is located 10 minutes by foot from the Heidelberg-Altstadt S-Bahn station, a bus station for the city route (which takes you to the Hbf) is right outside the door, as is the funicular to the Königstuhl. The stairway and footpath leading... More

We were very excited to stay here after hearing great things about it! We had issues with our train in Frankfurt and the station ended up paying for a taxi all the way out to Heidelberg. I had called ahead to say we were going to be arriving late even before the train mishaps, and we didn't end up arriving... More

Well travelled people can read between the lines for sure and they can imagine what really happened. I would protect my other guests next time again. The other girls of this group think so, too, it seems. They apologized when leaving. More

I stayed in this hostel for one night in a double room private because I had business in Heidelberg. First surprise: the room was actually cheaper than the price I booked it for (I didnt pay for 2 people in order to have the room by myself but just the price for 1 person plus a small extra). The hostel... More
