We stayed one night in Heidelberg while visiting the area. The hotel is located just a few blocks from the altstadt making it easy to walk to the pedestrian only zones. The room itself was nice and clean. It overlooked the street in front of the hotel so there was some noise. The main problem was the service or should... More

My husband and I stayed @ Crowne Plaza for 3 nights. I had booked a king club smoking room through their website due to their internet lowest rate guarantee. Our room was very spacious per european standards and decorated nicely.(I'm kind of picky.) Large desk, luggage area, safe, iron w/board, and windows that open. Good amenites, deep bathub w/shower and... More

The rooms have been recently renovated and are exceptionally large (given this is a European hotel) and very nice. The breakfast was very tasty, with a lot of variety (eggs, bacon, pastries and cold cuts). It's a short walk (a couple of blocks) to the Aldstadt. There are other more centrally-located hotels to the Aldstadt, but my husband and I... More

We stayed a week at Crown Plaza and loved it and Heidelberg. Had a family suite for four of us, two adults and children aged 11 and 13 and found it met all of our needs. My husband and children enjoyed the swimming pool twice daily and the fact that it opened until midnight was a bonus. The food was... More

Have stayed at the Crowne Plaza many times for business and generally found it pleasant. Rooms and facilities are basic and meet your needs. Not very impressed with the internet service (I have never found any wireless) nor the room service. However the hotel is well located with secure parking

True to the other reviews, a centrally located hotel within an easy stroll of the pedestrianised shopping/restaurant area. As usual we booked direct with the hotel on the parent web page [--] got a great price as we included a Saturday night. Room was a good size two queen beds, duvet and plenty of pillows. Bathroom tub/shower .Trouser press, iron... More

Spent 2 nights in August with my wife and daughter. The hotel is large and 'corporate' on the corner of 2 major roads, 5 mins walk from the start of the 'High St', so fairly well placed. Overall the hotel did not meet our expectations- although breakfast was better than we expected on reading other reviews! The main problems were... More

We stayed here for two nights after touring Italy for two weeks. The friendly and consistent service was such a welcome sight after our previous experiences with the Italian standards for service. (We had forgotten that many front desk clerks actually smile at people.) In fact, the woman who checked us in was very patient and cheerful with my husband... More

We have stayed in this hotel while on business/leisure trip. The location of the hotel is great and they do have a parking garage . Parking is a bit expensive but you can come and go as you wish. Our room (222) was very comfortable and quite spacious (considering european standards). We were surprised by a wide range of amenities... More

Have stayed at this location many times on business and will be returning with my family. The location is fantastic for a short stay and within many shopping facilities. Parking is expensive as is breakfast (which is only average at best) but the staff, facility and location make up for these short coming.
