Stayed here for two nights in mid July.Traveled by train so out of station, tram stop ahead trams into town right hand side think it was 5 to bismarktplatz but hotel will email if asked but people are friendly and will help you. Four stops later and just across the road is Bayrischer Hof. Staff very helpful and even pretended... More

The hotel was located in the center of town with great access to the Alstadt. Was concerned about the noise with all the traffic, but was pleasantly surprised how sound proof the windows were. Very helpful front desk staff!

We recently spent a weekend at the Bayrischer Hof and were pleased with our choice. The hotel is a short tram or bus ride from the train station and walking distance from the Old Town, although it was a bit of a trek to the castle. Most trams and buses stop at Bismarktplatz which is just across the street and... More

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and efficient. Breakfast was of a normal hotel buffet standard. My only complaint was the amount of noise from the street - I could only sleep by using the air conditioning unit to make enough white noise to mask the street sounds.

Dear Honisoiquimalypense, thank you for the good recommendation. I am a Little sad, that our performance seems to be well at all and your statement in points (two of five) says not. We are very central in a town. There are cars, Trams.... short: Live! You won't be nearer to the town than staying with us with all it's pulsive... More

The apartments are modern and clean as a whistle. Loved the retractable blinds - completely darkened the room and still allowed air to flow through, which is really nice in the heat. A little noisy on our side of the hotel as it overlooked the bars and cafes, but we knew that. The car park is unique.

This is a very friendly comfortable hotel in which I enjoyed staying. The staff are brilliant and the hotel is clean, bright and spacious. It is also in a good location in the middle of the town and is therefore easy to get to.

Hotel is located across a busy road from the Aldstadt and the main trourist shopping areas. It is a great spot for seeing the City as all busses and trains stop just across the road from the hotel. Check in is 4pm (a bit of a drag if you turn up early), however, reception was very frieldly, helpful and informative.... More

Bismarckplatz is right in front of the hotel. That means it is near main traffic tie-ups and the main touristic streets. To enjoy your stay in the hotel I will recommend you to pick a room open on the street, not a patio. Because of a cook-house's smell is measurable. It provides a potential to stay with pets - what... Nice, clean, friendly staff who are taking a Hospitality course of study. Everyone one was very helpful and multilingual so you should have no problems. They recommended restaurants and shopping areas for us. Truly waking distance to everything you'll want to do in Heidelberg.

The Bayrischer Hof was an easy surprise to be welcomed with on arrival to Heidelberg. Located just a street across from the old town, visitors will find this an easy base. During the quick check-in process, the plesant and helpful staff offered me a glass of prosecco which I thought was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and... More
