The hotel service is excellent. The free champagne and lemon water are at the lobby. That's very welcoming!! They have clean and neat room! They have wonderful breakfast buffet. For German bread lover, they prepared several different kinds of bread. They seem to change the varieties of cheese. The hotel is located in between the old city center and train... More

I stayed here for 9 nights while on a business trip. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room I stayed in was good and the bed comfortable (which is hugely important). The breakfast is very good. Wi-Fi isn't great which is about the only gripe I have. I would definitely stay here again.

We have just spent 4 nights at this hotel and we were very disappointed with this supposed 4 star hotel. Our room, although spacious, overlooked the roof which was littered with rubbish. There were wires hanging out of the heater and the whole room was tired. We asked for a light bulb to be replaced but this was not done.... More

This hotel is well located within about a 15 minute walk form the station in one direction and another 10 minutes to Bismarck Platz. Walk to the Castle and Philosopher's Way is also manageable. Hotel room was spacious with great views over the rooftops to the river. Breakfast was ok but a bit pricey. Walk up to the city cafés... More

Normal hotel, no prons no cons... Just a night in this hotel but it's not a four stars hotel... The breakfast is really good with a lot of pastry Briosche. A good three one! If I didn't ask about the parking they wouldn't make me pay... A little bit weird.

If you travel much overseas you'll find star ratings are quite different than in America. In Australia for example, you get a star if you have a restaurant, ensuite bathrooms, etc... Whereas in America, those items are considered the bare minimum to call yourself a hotel. If you want an American 4-Star experience, book a European 5-Star hotel. The rooms... More

The location was excellent, a short walk to the Altstadt and University. The room was very clean, well presented and the beds very comfortable. The view from the higher floors is wonderful as you are in the middle of town. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Not overly happy with paying extra for the car park but it... More

This is my second stay in this hotel. All in all it became worse... I regret to notice that hotel is really tired and staff seems to be not trained well. Previous staff was really active and friendly, now they looks like sleepy all the time. The room is clean but old furnished and bathroom is absolutely old fashioned (at... More

This is a safe, clean hotel, located within 5-7 min walking distance to old downtown and the train station. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious for a European hotel. There's nothing really nice or luxurious about this hotel, though. The beds are hard, the towels are cheap, the Internet is expensive and unacceptably slow. The staff is friendly, but... More
