The location of the hotel is excellent: the old center of the town is pleasant for an eye and contains a lot of places where one can eat. The hotel price is reasonable; though the house is old, all necessary comport in rooms is available. Breakfasts are rather modest and without a choice, however for 4 euro you will not... More

The location is very good, you can enjoy the view of the bridge and river just in front of your window. Also walking distance of all the restaurants, shops and markets. Heidelberg is a very lovely town ! The room is nice and clean, the only problem is that there is no elevator - so if you carry heavy stuffs,... More

Location of the hotel is just a minute away from the beginning of the shopping zone and nearest Christmas market (there are many of them in Heidelberg). It is a great base for visiting the Castle. The price is very good. Be aware that the hotel is very old and that there is no soundproofing and no elevator. But, as... More

So as you can see from the title the location is the best part of this hotel !! The room itself was small, clean and nothing fancy but the view from our room of the beautiful bridge and the Neckar river was wonderful !! You are in walking distance of all the restaurants, shops and markets - just perfect !!... More

Average sort of hotel, small reception area, no lift, spacious clean room, basic breakfast. Room had a nice view of the bridge and river. A bit noisy at night, a few drinkers/tourists passing by and a bus stop outside. You have got to expect that because the famous old bridge is just a stones throw away from the hotel. Location... We were at the hotel on October 2014. The first bad thing is parking - despite the problem with parking in Heidelberg, the receptionist sent us to a parking garage 10 minutes away, with a fee of 9 Euros per night, and also with bad explanation how to get there. Furthermore, we got a room in the third floor -... More

We drove past on our way to Stuttgart and a friend told us to turn around and go back to heildelburg, So glad we did, it was quiet difficult finding the hotel as there were a lot of one way roads which were very narrow but once found and car parked not far in an underground parking it was great.... Was in town for only a few days to help set up son about to enroll in university. Very convenient location to his apartment and plenty of opportunities for food and drink. Arrived too early to sign in but staff held luggage until I returned around 1130. Luggage had already been carried to my room. Had room on top/4th floor... More

We had a quite agreable room in a builing next to the hotel. Great location with the disadvantage of very noisy nights, especially on Friday night. Breakfast was mediocre, but there are so many restaurants nearby that we didn't mind go somewhere else. Very positive: we did not have to pay for our dog.

The location = excellent, just near the Heiligkeistkirche and Marketplace.20 meters to the Hauptstrasse. The room was good and clean, with a new bathroom. The TV-set was too small, so I had to go to my old student pub to see the Soccer Championships - a bigger screen. A big minus was that the WLAN (or HiFi) connection did not... More
