Spend 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the food, marvellous nature around the hotel and a very good external swimming pool. Highly recommendable for those who would like to experience the Black Forrest region.

Beautiful setting in the Black Forest. Got the half board that included delicious German style breakfast buffet and 4 course dinners. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Walking trails through the woods were right in back of the hotel. One easy trail went right to town (Freudenstadt). Beautiful indoor warm salt water pool and saunas. Nice decks... More

Great location for hiking and sightseeing in the Black forest. The food and staff were fantastic.

We stayed for just one night and, unfortunately, we had bad weather (on the 31st of May!!!!), however the hotel is a gem, placed in the middle of the forest, with a nice lake in front. Rooms are nice, old fashioned but certainly luxurious, the whole hotel has this old decadent decor which is so charming in this context. All... More
