The Mercure hotel is a good hotel to conduct small meetings/trainings and also I would say to stay in Freiburg due to it's central location. The rooms are not that big but is just right for short stays.

Ideally located close to the city center. Parking directly on the underground of the hotel. Staff at the reception is very kind and helpful. Rooms are quiet, confortable and "standard" nice. Big and well-equipped bathroom. We did not have breakfast at the hotel (too expensive):
