Nice little hotel with clean rooms with balcony. The hotel is located outside Baiersbronn so you have to take the car or a bus if you want to go to the city center, and I strongly recommend this, because there is nothing to do in and around the hotel.

Rooms clean and comfortable but small. Flat screen TV No list of channels. Shower was quite good. Hair dryer not bad. No shampoo, shower jel etc provided, only liquid soap. Towels very hard. Nicebalcony. No tea and coffee making facilities. Family run hotel, didnt make our party feel welcome. Food not good. Breakfast basic. Nice location, used the Konus pass... More

I recently stayed at this hotel as part of a coach holiday. It's in a nice position, but that's it's best point. The owners were unwelcoming, unfriendly and downright rude. The food was poor quality. The breakfast was basic and the owner refused to replenish any items that ran out. Dinner was also poor quality, one evening we were served... More

Spent 7 nights with Coach Tour, staff not as friendly and helpful as would have liked. Appeared not to value coach parties. All on board elderly or with mobility problems. Food was not imaginative. Cold buffet breakfast. No tea making facilities in room and randomly open for coffee during day. Location lovely, cafe nearby very friendly with lovely food.

A long St Valentine's weekend was the occasion to show my wife the Black Forest I used to live and work in years before. I'd obviously read the reviews about the Adler-Post hotel and found them mainly positive, good sign. We announced a 5pm arrival but actually arrived at 3pm. The hotel looked empty which, barring us, it was (no... More

This is a picture postcard hotel in a beautiful setting. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was perfectly clean and had a balcony looking out over the front of the hotel. We went down to the restaurant and were extremely delighted with the quality of the food. The trout starter with horseradish cream was gorgeous and... More

Excellent location - A good place for walks right into the forest - literally 5 minutes from the hotel. Evening food is good and satisfying , although their sekt is somewhat usual.- Pancake soup is really tasty. Breakfast is very basic continental style . Only tea is earl grey ....if you like it. So you know where to sit in... More

The hotel is located at the start/end of the Black Forest main high road and is ideally located for exploring the area. The rooms are a little small (make sure you are close to the person you share with) but clean and comfortable. Also bear in mind there is some road noise. The hotel is family run and the staff are very... We booked this as an overnight stop whilst travelling back from Austria to the UK. Overall, I was happy with the hotel considering the modest price. The location is in a very quiet village in the heart of the Black Forest. There is a general store, a couple of banks and some smart shops aimed at the clientèle attending the... More
