We stayed one night at the Heiligenstein on our way through Germany, and the location couldn't be better! Beautiful views from the balcony overlooking the vineyards, the town and the lovely church too. Food was delicious, I'd never had garlic soup but I'd definitely have it again! Amazing cheeseboard for dessert too. Rooms were squeaky clean, bath is a decent... More

we stayed there for Easter Holidays. We chose the room named Chateau M. It was really fantastic. small entrance with wardrobe, then a beautifu and romantic bath tub, main bath room with a separate toilet, and the proper room with bed and fireplace. really a jewel. Very kind personnel, squisite breakfast. simply relax immersed in wineyards. Baden-Baden in 12 km... More

Set amongst the vineyards and rolling hills, Hotel Heiligenstein is a beautiful place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds and relax, but explore the region. We stayed 2 nights and occupied a very large, comfortable, top floor room with 2 bathrooms and balcony - perfect for a family of four. Furnishings and decor were very... More

A bit of a drive from Bad Soden over a mountain pass, but a great place to stay. Meals were excellent and interesting, both normal and named rooms were comfortable, attractive, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Close enough to Baden Baden in a peaceful resort, a very lovely village as vineyards all around and a very relaxing place. Very good rooms, very helpful staff, good restaurant, very good and colorful breakfast, fancy tableware and nice decoration. The restaurant is lovely in the evening and the standard of food is really high. The hotel is small enough... More

Our third visit and it gets better and better each time. In our view pretty perfect. Close to Baden Baden (we drove once and took the local bus once and that was a lovely experience) but far enough away to be a complete peaceful retreat, vineyards all around, lovely village, totally relaxing - and an amazing Riesling area. The perfect... More

The room looks very nice with tiger design elements, the Spa and the garden are the most beautiful we saw in the black forest during our trip. Very recomended place...althouth it is about 11km from Baden Baden.

We stayed in room 'Mauerberg'. Spacious room with balcony, ensuite bathroom and separate shower and toilet. Nice beds. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, good restaurant with excellent regional wines. Several hiking trails start from the doorstep of this hotel. We'll be back! Awkward that EUR 1 per device per stay is charged for WLAN.

Our room was great with a balcony and views of the mountains. We were close enough to Baden-Baden that we could visit for dinner, but far enough away that we felt we were in the country. The staff was helpful. We arrived back at the hotel at night and there wasn't enough parking. Breakfast at Hotel Heiligenstein wasn’t very extensive.... More

We battled to find this property as their correspondence doesn't mention that they are actually in a small village about 20km outside of Baden Baden. However, once we found it, everything was fine. Location is a little out of the centre of even the village where they are located - sadly the restaurant in the hotel was closed on the... More
