The hotel looks very nice from outside, and also inside! Rooms were nicely decorated and very clean, and the bathroom seems recently entirely renovated. Reception is inside the restaurant and rather efficient. Housekeeping was good (spoke english and provided ironing machines when asked) The only thing which made me take out one star in the rating: we arrived for breakfast... More

the most central hotel you could stay in Baden Baden. small but very clear(smelled so good) and very cute rooms.romantic, german style.very interesting! we had the number 1 which was in the front and that was a small problem because of the street noise early in the morning!(if you are an early person it does'n mind at all).maybe it would be... A great little hotel in the heart of this community. I read other reviews that complained about the revelry and other annoyances. I can say that we had no problems. You would expect some noise when staying right in the midst of all the fun. We enjoyed it. The place is perfectly acceptable for a night or two. On the... More

This hotel was just ok, our room was at the back overlooking the roof of another building with air conditioners going till 11pm, so we weren't very impressed, but the room itself was alright, very clean which is a good start. The hotel is centrally located and there are plenty of restaurants around to choose from. The breakfast at the... More

A beautiful looking hotel right in the heart of a beautiful city - spoilt by the surly attitude of the staff who could not be less interested. The first room shown overlooked the mess of concrete and steel, service ducts and air con units and the back of the adjacent buildings - hideous and noisy. They moved us (with a... More

The town of Baden Baden is lovely and this hotel is as well. Very efficient service, notwithstanding a bit of a language barrier at check in. Please note that the check-in is done through the cafe next door (on the left) which confused us a bit. Once checked in, it makes perfect sense as the rooms are accessed through the... More

We were a couple who stayed here for 1 night in May2013. The hotel is right in the heart of Baden Baden city centre. The location couldnt be better. The spa, the casino, Lichtentaler Allee -- whatever be your choice -- everything is less than 5 mints away from the hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and big. Specially... More

Beautifully positioned right in the middle of the old town (opposite the Rathaus) in a pedestrian area (which does make parking tricky unfortunately). Lovely old buildings, plenty of places to eat & drink including the Laterne itself. Quaint hotel/rooms, with good buffet breakfast, but can be noisy at the front of the hotel. This didn't worry me but ask for... More

Stayed 2 nights in May 2013. It was a bit of a nightmare to find as Baden-Baden is a maze of pedestrianised streets that our GPS didn't recognise. Parking for the hotel was about a 5 minute walk away in a large public car park (20Euro for overnight parking). The hotel is very central with all the main town attractions... More
