Two staff stand out for their friendliness and helpfulness but the rooms don't quite come up to expectation . Sparsely furnished with two upright chairs . two beds , a table a TV and a safe you had to pay for ( one of many things , like shower caps ) . Not exactly cosy . The sixties bathroom had... More

The Location (and the breakfast) are just about the only good things to say about this Hotel. The room is a poor Ratio Quality price, Light bulbs burned out, a badly functioning showerhead, the shower’s water evacuation extremely slow, the internet connection more off than on – all in all a hotel to forget and to never return again!

The location of this hotel is perfect! The parking is expensive, so keep a look out for the few parking spots out front. We are military living in Germany and are supposed to be able to us a VAT form and when we asked if we could, we were told, "NO". If you like to see pearly white sheets, this... More

Baden-Baden caters to people who come to the casino, so many hotels in that area are quite expensive. The Hotel Regent is an affordable place, and appropriate for a shorter stay. Let me start with the pros: The lady at the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful, and spoke good English. The breakfast is included with the stay, and... More

This is a super hotel for people travelling on a budget! Right in the centre of Baden Baden and easy to get to by bus from the main train station. The staff are superb and really helpful. Although the rooms need redecorating they are clean and comfortable. The showers are amazing! The water pressure is great! A great stay and... More

We traveled to Baden-Baden from Berlin via overnight train. Just outside the Baden-Baden train station there is a bus stop from where we took the bus going into the town early in the morning. We got down at Augustaplatz as the hotel is 1 min walk from there. We were surprised when the hotel staff let us check in at... More

I travel on a budget, so in a pricey town like Baden-Baden, it's great to find an in-town hotel for under 100 Euros. The room; beds are too hard for me, and pillows are practically non-existent--they flatten to nothing. Climate control is typical low-cost European hotel; open the window and hope for a breeze. I couldn't find a fan. With... More

Very close to the city centre (2 minutes walking), very helpful staff. Room and bathroom are clean but the bedroom cleary need redecorating; furniture is very old and worn. Dirty moquette. A bit difficult to find (it is in a narrow, secondary street).

Booked this hotel kind of last minute-it was a great price. We stayed two nights-including Valentines Day. Very basic room-not romantic by any means but the location is great. There is a cute tapas and wine bar across the street. We parked our car and did not use it again until checkout because everything was so darn close. It snowed... More

I don't know if my boyfriend and I stayed during a particularly good period or whether some of the other travellers had a particularly bad experience, but I had no problems whatsoever at the hotel. The room was a good size, but a little basic. There was a LCD TV with a choice of around 10 channels, desk, wardrobe, chair... More
