The hotel might have earned it 4 stars in the 60's but would not give it more than 2- 2.5 stars right now. The room was big but seemed completely empty and outdated (the antique television as proof- broken glass doors,...) with a unpractical bathroom (shower will wet whole floor) and what is worse, the staff is not nice or... The front desk staff was not friendly at all, and the woman who checked us in don't speak or understand English, she did not tell us anything about the internet, breakfast etc. We had to ask her many times. To make things worse, she had very bad attitude. The internet was really slow, and we have to enter the username... More

Rooms are standard, carpet is a bit rundown. But this is compensated by an excellent location, clean rooms, very helpful staff and good breakfast. 88 euro for a night with breakfast is good value. The big baths, Friedrichsbad & Caracalla, are at 3min walk.

Stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past,it has been 4 yrs since last. It was a best western hotel, then a dorint, now who knows.however,it sounds like they are about to close at end of yr The check in clerk was very arrogant and surly.no pleasant at all. After a long flite, and hassling with rental cars at Frankfurt airport, got to... More

If you are in Baden Baden for the spa experience - this is the hotel for you as it is a 2 min walk to both spas (the naked and the dressed ones), it's right behind the hotel. We stayed here one night in October. We were greated by the wonderful receptionist Gondholf ( i hope I am writing it... More

Excellent place to stay. Right in the center of action and is an easy walk to just about everything. Baden Baden is a small town. If this is the area of the town you want to be at, I think this is one of the best value hotel for the location. Easy walk from bus stop. Rooms are clean. Don't... More

Great location .. but possibly the least attractive building on the road. I bet the rooms looked fantastic 10 - 15 years ago when they were refurbished. Maybe its time to schedule another update. Great breakfast. Huge room including sofas but a little spartan. Expect to pay 12 Euros to park. Reception not too well informed. Sent me way down... More

I booked the hotel online based on price, and was pleasantly surprised that it far exceeded expectations. Perfect location, five minutes from both baths and one minute from pedestrian zone. The clerk, who seemed to work 24 hours a day was pleasant, funny, and helpful. He insisted that my wife and I (typical Americans, somewhat frightened by the nudity) go... More

We stayed for one night, and got an upgrade to a suite. The breakfast was great, wide range variety of buffet. The location is great, close to the leading spas and attractions. Parking is available under the hotel.

The title says most of it! We got caught out with car parking - beware it's an additional 12 Euros/day, which adds on to the room price. The room was big and comfortable and the hotel is right downtown, perfect location. The staff member present on arrival was not forthcoming with information or help, we found out later that we...
