Great hotel in a normally lovely town but full of visitors from the Middle East clogging the streets. Apparently to escape the heat in their own countries in August they flock to towns in Southern Germany and these families have a lot of kids. The hotel is in a central location next to the shops, bars and restaurants. Very friendly and... More

This hotel used to be the Holland hotel, it boasts a long family tradition. The Art deco staircase in the centre of the hotel is majestic, and so is the whole hotel and the gardens in the back. It is an impressive and luxurious hotel, in the centre of Baden-baden furthermore. Rooms in the back have a nice terrace overlooking... More

We stayed at this luxury hotel for 4 nights after initially booking for 2 - yes it was that good! Just an amazing place that has excellent rooms, comfortable beds, brilliant bathroom, and the gardens are just superb. The daily breakfast has enough variety to suit any taste and if you are there at the right time the restaurant in... More

It is a nice hotel with very good staff. Extremely helpful. The hotel is located in the town center. The bus from the train station could bring you almost to the hotel. But the timings are tricky. There is nespresso and tea in the lobby area with biscuits. Very nice gesture. There is an iron and a board on each... More

We stayed here as part of a large party over a long weekend. Our room was large with a great balcony overlooking a beautiful garden and generally well appointed. Good bathroom and shower - but the towels were disappointingly thin. Otherwise, we had good service and the staff were very helpful. There is a mystery to getting to the hotel... More

I stayed two nights here with a friend. The location needs no elaboration. It's smacked right in the centre of Baden-Baden and it within walking distance to the Casino, Kurhaus, shopping. I liked the Tiffany style ceiling and the unusual staircase leading up to the rooms. The room and common areas were very clean, bathroom very spacious. Breakfast was excellent.... More

The hotel was 'nice', not great, just nice; clean, good water pressure and a good bed. It is centrally located, so there isn't any challenge getting to the city center or most of the attractions. The park house is located close to the hotel, so again, no worries there, although it is tough to find as it's around the back... More

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Why? Because the staff treat you like they really want you there. They do everything right, from the coffee, tea, snacks and water that await you upon arrival to the beautifully newly decorated rooms in a classic hotel. The breakfast was incredible, a 30 foot wall of food. They gave... More

Am Sophienpark surprised me pleasantly, mostly because it is everything but one of those typical hotels. On the first floor of the hotel you can read some nice history of the hotel (I am sure it is at the website as well) and that will explain why the hotel is what it is now. Let’s start with the location: it... More

Love the old world, early 20th century look attempt, yes attempt. The furniture in the common areas are fun. Whoever decoratted needed to reference turn o the century pictures. The rooms were very spacious and the Sunday morning breakfast was superb. You cannot beat the the price for the location. We will be returning for another stay.
