Stayed for one night only and didn't expect much as I had booked online for a very low price. Still, you do expect a minimum of maintenance in a place that presents itself as a luxury hotel. Staff were friendly but not overly competent (had the concierge recommend a restaurant and book a table, turned out he mixed up the... More

Impossible to sleep due to noise nuisances in the Park (Kurpark – Trinkhalle) facing the hotel. 9 young people were drunk. They were screaming and yelling during hours in the night. We had to call 3 times the police. We ask to speak to the manager the next morning. He did not care about it even if we were regular... More

This hotel is well located across the gardens from the Trinkhalle and Casino. The overall ambience is grand old world charm but a little stuffy. The staff are polite rather than friendly. The advertised free wifi is very slow and not available in the rooms furthest from reception. The breakfast, included in our deal, was excellent with lots of fresh... More

Had dinner overhere and a one night stay + breakfast. Surprised by very good quality food at night, unlimited choices of breakfast, and good service (valet parking included) Lots of old people however, but the right people. Not a destination for young people with kids.

Had a short stay so we didn't have time to take advantage of all the services available, but really enjoyed our stay. As so many others have stated the service was really excellent! They were both friendly and professional taking promptly care of all our request. The staff took care of our luggage, parking our car... stuff they normally take... More

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend and loved every minute of our time here. It was a bit of a splurge for us, but turned out to be very worth it. The hotel is a beautiful old historic building and an easy walk to the Freidrichsbad baths, Cafe Koring, and the Kurpark. We had a room on... More

This grand old hotel has had a few knocks on this site, but during a recent stay we found only excellence. Go for the rooms facing the Kurpark, which are spacious and quiet and worth the little extra. The bathrooms are gleaming and some rooms have small balconies, overlooking the river and park. Breakfast is a feast in itself, snacks... More

I've stayed in Baden-Baden many times over the years, and since my stay here I would definitely rate it as the best hotel I've used. It's a rather grand, elegant hotel situated overlooking the Trinkhalle and within a few minutes walk of the Friedrichsbad and Caracella spas. The service was excellent-staff on the front desk were polite and charming and... More

First off, the location is fantastic! It is across from the Kurpark and even the rooms to the street are fairly quiet. There is even a little river in front if the hotel which is nice to listen to while sleeping. The outside is really beautiful an reminds one of grand old times. The lobby is also really beautiful! We arrived on a wet evening and pleased to see the spacious elegant hotel with large corridors and an elegantly furnished room. Although the Restaurant was closed we would recommend the excellent Bar meal which closely resembled many star restaurant meals we have experienced in other major hotels. I must compliment the reception staff for their time taken to resolve... More
