The hotel is located above the coffee shop in the train station again, so it is ideal for catching early trains or some of the businesses in the area, but not so practical for the center of Baden-Baden. There are regular buses to the center to ameliorate this issue. The rooms are clean and reasonably sized, however it may not... More

The hotel is right on the Bahnof ( station ) . Cannot be more convenient , rooms are good and the staff extremely cooperative , the city centre is beautiful and worth exploring . We booked a car and drive down to the mountains and a place known as Mommelsee and had a "Black Forest" pastry

Hotel Neuer Karlhoff was a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is not what we’re used to – it is actually part of a coffee shop, which actually turned out to be quite convenient. Adding to the convenience is the colocation with the train station and bus stop. Upon arrival, the owner was in the coffee... More

Good value for a family room but being located at the train station made the stay noisy throughout the night. Reception a bit wierd as its inside a coffee shop but overall for a cheap hotel, it was clean, and we had a family room with adjoining doors which suited us well.

This was an interesting experience as the only gusts in one of 6? poss. 7? bedrooms. It is indeed on the station so very handy for an early start! The rooms are large and well decorated and furnished. Shower was powerful, bathroom perfectly adequate. Included a hairdryer! Breakfast is in the cafe downstairs and after the cafe closes the access to... More

Unlike the previous reviewer I drove to the hotel thinking it was closer than it was. I had to drive round Baden Baden 5 times before deciding to ask a taxi driver where the hotel was as it was cunningly disguised as a train station buidling. The train noise is VERY loud and the personal service is non existant. Breakfast... More

Most days there is one late Ryanair flight to Baden-Baden from London Stansted. I booked this hotel as it was close to the airport and I didn't want to have to travel further that evening. I was concerned to find the hotel looked closed on arrival (11pm or so). Fortunately, the taxi driver was helpful and he spoke to another... More

The main problem of this hotel was the noise from the trains passing by all night & morning. We didnt sleep at all. The room was cozy. Internet was working and parking was free. Be careful of the location. It is indeed in the train station.
