Traditional Black Forest guesthouse. Excellent, large room, good breakfast and really attentive, friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone visiting the northern Black Forest (with a car/motorbike). Excellent food in Badisch style, creative serving. Beautiful local wine and beer. Enjoyed our 3 night stay so much we stayed for 5! Spotlessly clean, great location about 2-3 mile outside of Baden Baden.

We stayed during our weekend trip to Baden Baden in this lovely hotel. The room was very well maintained and perfectly cleaned. We had breakfast and two meals in the hotel. The selection on the menu shows some delicious local specialities and all of our dishes were well cooked and tasty with a big portion size. The service was friendly... More

We pulled up at the guesthouse and were a little dubious from the outside, it looked tired and in need of a coat of paint. Inside however was a different story. The restaurant was bright and cheerful and the rooms, although a little outdated, were clean and well kept. We had the triple room as there were no doubles left... More

This is good value in this district. A 10 minute drive from downtown Baden-Baden so you would need a car but it is right on the edge of the Black Forest so a good exit point for exploring in that direction. Best described as country pub style accommodation, the smallest bathroom I have ever been in but the bed was... More

We stayed for a night while passing trough from Italy. We were pleasantly surprised by the cosyness. We stayed in a comfortroom where everything was a little outdated, but also in mint condition and very, very clean. We had a really nice dinner with very friendly service and nice wines to accompany. As we woke up we could see deers... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night whilst on our travels around Germany. Okay, the room was pretty basic and quite dated but the hotel staff were friendly and the restaurant gardens are very pretty. Not a great location though, really need a car to get to Baden-Baden but was adeqaute for a one night stay.

This understated hotel was a very nice surprise, landed on it as it was approaching dark on a motorcycle trip and didn't feel of sleeping in the city of Baden Baden. Rooms were large, very confortable, hidden in the back a beautiful quiet beer garden with a view on the country side. There is also a nice restaurant inhouse. Staff... More

We have two teens and the quadruple room was very comfortable for us. A large bed for the adults and two beds (one a converted couch and the other rolled in); and the room was still large enough for the small table and chairs and to walk around in comfortably. It is about 5 mins outside of Baden-Baden, so it... More
