We have never stayed here but have had many meals over the decades. The food is absolutely incredible and if you go in warm weather, make sure you sit outside in the garden which is absolutely bucolic. Looking for a great dining experience in The Rhone region. Try La Pyramide in this Relais and Chateau property. Modern attractive fixtures in the restaurant help create an upscale, bright and airy ambience. Excellent food and friendly service.

We arrived and got settled in the room, later that night we discovered the air conditioning did not work. We opened the windows and realized that the train tracks were a mere few blocks away....what a nightmare! between the heat and the passing trains we did not get any sleep. This is a hotel from the Relais & Châteaux brand. By making a reservation here you expect 'the best'. We had a wonderful experience. This is an excellent destination restaurant with attractive gardens, exciting modern decor to dining and public area. However, entering the bedrooms you feel you may have mistakenly slipped into another hotel. These rooms are perfectly OK but are in a rather traditional flowery pink and green decor. La Pyramid is a place of mixed emotions and realities. The location is in a rather run down area of Vienne France. Yet the building complex is very well maintained and the grounds are manicured. Nothing about this hotel is average. The restaurant and bistro are excellent. The room we had was very nice. The staff at the hotel were charming. The location was just outside the city center. But, and this is a big but, the WiFi did not work except for maybe between 3 AM and 8AM and the air conditioning was feeble... More

We have stayed at la Pyramide on several occasions as it is quiet but very close to the Motorway when we are travelling south.
