My husband and I stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago just for the night. We had been travelling all day en route to Spain and were just happy to find an hotel really. Room was basic and reasonably clean although it was looking shabby. Soap and shower gel available. Towels in reasonable condition as was the bed... More

Staff: helpful, pleasant and polite. Room: shabby, stale smell. Location: not far from the centre. Value: poor, very shabby. For a little more you would get a better hotel. Badly in need of a refit or even a deep clean.

Basic hotel with known standard for a not-so-basic price. Advantage: Town centre just nearby and nice view over the river Disadvantage: Between the hotel and the river there are 6 lanes of motorway and 2 lines of national road - no way to sleep with an open window. But: Our daughter (14 months) found everything at the very much affordable... More

Etaphotel is an accommodation at affordable prices but there are certain standards which should be achieved. Firstly, everything in the room should work as intended and be in reasonable order. During this stay, there were shelves bearly hanging on its brackets, the sink didn't have a plug, and the floor was damp. I think one can split between the hotels... More

In July 2011 we stayed here with 3 persons in 1 room. We were on our way to Southern France by train and this turned out to be a perfect place for an overnight stop. Sure, it is all pretty cramped with three people, but it is extremely affordable, especially if you- like we did- split the room price in... More

A basic quality hotel although expensive for the level of features provided. Could have been cleaner and the decor is looking very tired. The price has increased considerably since our last stay here 2 years ago. We are considering not using the Etap range any more as they are not much better than a Formula1 hotel.
