Just back from a weeks stay at La Gelinotte. The Hotel was pretty much as expected for a French ski resort hotel i.e. compact bedrooms with just enough storage space. Rooms were warm and generally clean and tidy but dirty mugs would be left in the rooms after the morning clean. Towels weren't changed during the week which isn't very... More

The good: Rep and Hotel staff are very eager to impress, food quality is excellent, rooms are mostly good too. The OK: Hotel location is ok, but you will need to reserve a place on the 8 seat minibus to the slope in the morning, this done by putting your name down for one of the slot times which start... Just returned from a week skiing staying with alpine elements at this chalet hotel. Clean comfortable room (room 7 part of the old not refurbished part of the hotel). With bath shower and balcony, very quiet despite being full hotel. Lovely clean spa with steam and sauna and small pool with massage jets. The reason for feeding back on trip... More

An action packed adventure holiday we could have stayed for weeks. The staff were so lovely and incredibly helpful. The activities were so easy to access and great fun. The food and accommodation were terrific too-a wonderful place. Room 18 has a terrific view.

We were part of a group of 21 and had a fantastic holiday at la gelinotte, val d'isere. We stayed from 9-16 March 2014. The team at the Alpine Elements were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was great and the food was delicious. We stayed in one of the new rooms, lovely room with great... More

We reserved our stay fairly last minute and for the price we paid I feel we got good value for money. The staff were super: friendly and attentive, and the food was good- better than I expected. The hotel is a little trek for the slopes, and the walk is a little arduous after a hard days skiing, but they... More

Forced to travel at half term this is a review of a £4000+ (for 2 adults 1 child) holiday that was not worth the price, if you travel at other times or get a late deal then it might be better value. We chose this place because it is in Val ....nuff said. And because it has a pool, now... More

Location - the chalet is situated on a hill about 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Val d'Isere (without skis and boots), The chalet provides a free mini bus in the morning and afternoon which must be booked the night before. The driver was helpful and flexible. Note that the coach cannot reach the chalet so it is necessary... More

One of the best hotels I've stayed at on a ski holiday. We had a large group of people in early to mid twenties. All hotel staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. We were always seated in the same area for dinner - the food was delicious and there was a choice of three for each of starter, main... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and really thought we struck lucky staying at Hotel Gelinotte. We had some reservations and concerns before we arrived as we couldn’t decide if it was a hotel or a chalet. The only chalet aspect is that guests eat out for 1 night (Thursday) to give the staff a day off. We were told that... More
