We stayed at Hotel Galise over Easter 2015, and I couldn't fault a single aspect of the stay. Thibaut, Magali and their staff go out of their way to make you welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. The room was simple, but well appointed - with lots of nice thoughtful touches (like plenty of hooks to hang ski gear... More

This is the perfect hotel to get close to the piste in Val without spending a fortune. If what matters to you is a great location, friendly staff, clean and tastefully decorated rooms and a filling breakfast this is the place for you. There are no frills, no bar, no leisure facilities but there's so many places you can go... More

A very comfortable and well run hotel in the centre of Val d'Isere. Good value. The staff are friendly and informative. Breakfast area is open, light and relaxing. I had trouble finding english speaking channels on tv. Overall very good and I will be back.

Cons: None! Pros: Great location in the center of town. Also, quiet in spite of the bar below the hotel. Pleasant, efficient and motivated staff. Clean rooms, restaurant, and lobby. Charming design details. Our room (13) was recently renovated. Room was big enough for two and ski gear. Beds were firm and comfortable. There is a ski storage room with... More

This hotel was absolutely perfect. We struggled to find somewhere that would let us stay for 5 nights only and this hotel were happy to accommodate and had very reasonable mid season prices too. It's conveniently located right in the middle of town and you can literally ski back to the hotel from the slopes. The room was comfortable and... More

Our family stayed in early January 2014. The hotel was well place in the centre of the village. All staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and a drink at the Alexandra bar below. We would recommend this hotel to other for good facilities at a reasonable price by Val d'Isere standards.

This hotel is located right in the center of Val d'Isère close to the old church and a few minutes walk to the start of gondolas lifts to Solaise and Bellevarde. A very enjoyable location ! It's one of the most ancient hotel in Val d'Isère and it is run by the same family for a long time. Welcome is... More

First time I stayed here was in Feb 2002. La Galise is within walking distance of the lifts, price/quality can't be beaten. Alexandra and Thibaut are very friendly and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I liked this place so much returned again in 2008 and 2010. Perfect location. friendly service, reasonably priced, no need to go... More

The la galise is situated just a few metres from the main lifts in the centre of val. polite staff and a nice breakfast buffet. The rooms are functional and comfortable for a ski holiday. It does seem to be one of the best value central hotels. It has a very lively après ski bar 'Alexandra's ' in the basement... More
