The Ducs de Savoie hotel is somewhat sagging at the knees, it has a careworn expression on it’s face and if one looks carefully you can see in your minds eye the good times that have etched those laughter and frown lines. So it could do with a facelift. A bit of cosmetic surgery to help it face life with... More

We're delighted that your first ever family ski holiday was enjoyed by all, so much so that you would consider booking with us again. We'd be happy to assist you in choosing an alternative location and property if certain aspects of the Ducs de Savoie were not quite what you were hoping for. More

Last years experience was really good, so decided to come back again this year, but not as good an experience. Room was OK, but not as much space as last time, we were spoilt with one of the suites, this time only had a room, Definitely don't recommend the rooms with the mezzanine, the steps/stairs/ladder are not very safe they... I have stayed here before and found it to be excellent with great provisions for the children, kiss club well organised and the rangers who look after the children well experienced. However, this year the trip was not adequate at all. The new layout with the bar area included next to the dining room makes for a very hectic, noisy... More

We are sorry your holiday was spoilt by illness this time. We do take such matters seriously and follow stringent company procedures. We will be reviewing the dining room area following feedback this year. More

This was our first family holiday with our 2 year old. We chose this chalet hotel mainly because the nursery was on the top floor and also because we knew the ski area. The nursery staff were fantastic. We spent 40 minutes chatting to them on our son's frst morning there, talking through his likes and dislikes etc. We agreed... More

We stayed here in March 2015 during one of the ‘Bat weeks’ The hotel was pretty basic, but the rooms were comfortable and a good size for 2 adults and 2 small children. The adult food was excellent, but the children’s food was a little repetitive at lunch times (pasta & tomato sauce every day), as well as a cold... More

We stayed recently at the hotel and found it dirty and uncomfortable. While the child care and clubs are great I don't think this is a excuse for falling standards in other areas. General hygiene a problem which manifested itself in uncontained spread of bugs, lots of children and adults sick. Apparently it is rife every year, clearly something wrong.... More

We do take our hygiene procedures very seriously, so we're sorry that you felt that the standards of cleanliness fell short of what you would expect. We're pleased that you can recommend our child care services. More

We had read the previous reviews of this hotel so we knew we were not walking into luxury. It is functional, comfortable and very clean. We had a suite which is two rooms with a private hallway and a bathroom in each. The staff are what makes this a great holiday. The customer service is really excellent, nothing is too... More

This was my first chalethotel trip having stayed in chalets for years and it beat my expectations in pretty much every way. The food was cooked by people who cared about catering, rather than untrained seasonaires who may have never cooked before. As a result all the food was at least good. Our room was bigger than any chalet room... More

Thank you for providing a different perspective as an adult guest joining another family. We're glad that you were impressed by our strong customer service and the Chalet Hotel experience, although it's a shame that you hold a different view of our Ski Total sister brand. We train our teams on both brands to the same high standards of customer... More

First off, don't go to this hotel unless you have kids. The actual building is mediocre, good location but a little shabby and very noisy with all the little ones racing about. What makes this place fantastic is the staff and childcare. No need to feel guilty leaving your kids in nursery/ski school when you head to the slopes because... More

This was our first time to val d isare and our first espirit holiday with our first 10 month old son.
