Booked through a well known ski company. The hotel is in a great location, it is about a two minute walk to the slopes depending on the way you walk, close to really nice restaurants and shops and the bus stop is almost right outside. The rooms are simplistic but we excepted that for the price we paid. The bathroom... More

Where to start.... On arrival there was no one to check us in at all even though we had emailed the hotel and spoken to them about being late. Luckily someone was leaving the hotel 10 minutes after our arrival so we could get into the warm empty reception rather than standing in the freezing cold. The apartment, although you... More

Dear M. "HARRIVDV", We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay in our residence and we have wished to speak about these problems when you were amoung us. If we are not mistaken, you booked through a Tour Operator which has rented nearly 180 beds in our residence for a students group. The conditions were particular: very special price of... More

Mixed experience...on the positive, we had one big flat (across the street from reception) which was very nice and cosy, located centrally and clean On the minus the 2nd flat was very crammed and one of the beds was broken. Staff wasnt there to welcome guests after 7pm to answer questions and settle check in details despite it being Ski... More

Perfect central location ideal for shops and restaurants, with stops for the navette gratuite just outside for easy access to all ski areas. Nice bathroom with twin basins and separate toilet, but the kitchenette is only just adequate for preparing a proper meal (if that's what you want to do. The combination oven took us 2 days to figure out,... More

We arrived at 8.00 pm on Saturday. No one at reception. Just a note to say what our room number was and that keys would be inside room. Went to apartment and walked into a small living area which had a kind of truckle bed! That was supposed to be the double bed that we had requested! We then tried... More

Good spot for a value holiday in Val d'Isere. Good size room, a little dated but value for money. Not a luxury apartment by any means but good for a serious skier. Poor bedding but good kitchen And bathroom.

I agree with the majority of the other reviews here. No idea how this hotel got it's 4 stars. It is a clean but basic hotel choice. The location is very good - under 5 mins walk to the chair lifts and surrounded by restaurants and shops.... but also bars so late night noise can be a problem. We needed... More

My daughter and I recently stayed at the Alpina. We were apprehensive at first as the reviews we not great. I agree its not 4* so I didn't expect much. It was clean and big enough for 2 people. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help. It was cosy as it had carpets. It was... More

Great Hotel! Good value and a convenient location. The rooms were clean if not luxurious and the staff were very friendly. Not many downsides, except that the towels are not changed and the ski room is not heated so the boots are hard to put on first thing. Recommend for groups

The 4 star classification is not justified! Best thing to say about it is that its in middle of town. Half of the rooms are facing north and are relatively dark, but otherwise ok. Looks nice from the outside, but is disappointing on the inside. A very small "restaurant/lounge with breakfast and no bar or anything.
