Stayed at this hotel with Mark Warner and for the price we paid it represented good value for money. Yes it's tired, yes it needs a refurb, yes the food was hit or miss but overall the staff were friendly, attentive and did the best they could with the tools they were given. Breakfasts were plentiful with a good selection... More

It was a bit of a maze and we got lost finding our room on arrival... Perhaps better directions for the newbies. Hotel in a pretty good area, short walk to the bus stop. Mostly clean but yes, needs a lick of paint here and there. Food was plentiful. Breccy was good and afternoon tea fantastic. Variable evening meals but... More

We stayed in March this year for a week and had a great holiday with lots of happy memories to cherish. The location is fantastic, the staff are happy and helpful, the manager Claire was brilliant and the childcare excellent. Most of the food is fresh and plentiful, if a little bit homemade at times! Yes the hotel needs a... More

Just got back from a week's spring skiing in the Hotel Val D'Isere and I would agree with MKing's Review. It's all down to expectations/priorities. For us it was hearty food, a great location, comfy rooms and a team who were there when you needed them...and this hotel has it all!

As a first time skiier, this hotel was perfect, it is in a great central location and the staff were extremely helpful with everything, in particular the hotel manager Claire who went above and beyond to make sure our needs were catered for. Food was great and the outdoor swimming pool was an added bonus. Had a great holiday and... More

There are clear viewpoints on this hotel : Great or awful. The reality is all down to your expectations/priorities. Plus points : Great location : very friendly staff : plenty of food/wine : good value. Bad points : Scruffy : dirty : in need of a major re-furbishment. Our teenage kids loved it! But the overall impression of hygiene/ upkeep... More

Have just returned from this hotel. Read the mixed reviews but as most were not too bad decided to continue with the booking. What a mistake!! The hotel is in a very good location but that is about the only thing it has going for it . It is very much in need of a total refurb. Our room was... More

This is our 2nd and final stay at Mark Warner Hotel Val d Isere. The hotel is dirty and in serious need of a revamp. While the staff are pleasant they haven't got a clue in how to serve customers, the food is like how school dinners used to be cold small portions and very poor quality. The waiting staff... More

There is no doubt that a Mark Warner holiday in this hotel is a low cost, reasonable family solution and the hotel benefits from a good central location. That said the poor quality of the hotel and the lack of maintenance in the rooms is truly shocking. I don't know where to start but it is like the hotel has... More
