Jake and Genevieve are lovely hosts making amazing 3 course meals in the evening and a great selection for breakfast every morning! The chalet is ski in and ski out which is really handy (book your ski hire through snowberry and they pick up your ski stuff at the end of the week from the chalet free of charge too!)... More

Arranged through SkiVal, we were pleased with the price of this chalet over Christmas. It is quite a walk uphill out of town but there is a small bus which runs every 20 mins. Rooms are very small but adequate and fine for the budget. The living room and dining room are just big enough for 10 people but it is... More

We were a group of 11 staying in Chalet Claire and were looked after by the wonderful Genevieve and Jake. For me they were the highlight of the visit. Genevieve cooked all meals to perfection (even the meat, despite being a vegetarian herself) and Jake always made sure the chalet was spotless for when we arrived back from the slopes.... More

First time back to Val for several years. Chalet Claire is a ski in / ski out Chalet. Reality is you need to take a 5 min bus ride back to Chalet from bottom of hill. Warm welcome from Gen & Jake ~ experienced up beat chalet hosts who performed perfectly all their tasks. Gen cooked faultless food on a... More

Ski- in and ski-out was great and the location of the chalet was brilliant . Rooms are a little small but you only are in them for a short time so didn't worry us the lounge... More

My friends and I have just returned from a great week in Val d'Isere where we stayed in Chalet Claire with Ski Val. The hosts Josh and Heather were brilliant and and really looked after us. We shared the Chalet with another 8 guests but we all got on really well. The transfer to and from Lyon was good and... More

We went to chalet Claire over new year week with Ski Val. With such an early morning flight we even managed to get a couple of hours skiing on arrival day thanks to the amazing ski in ski out location of the chalet. Yes the rooms are small but who spends much time in them on a ski holiday?!? The... More

We took sole occupancy of Chalet Claire 18-26 Feb 12 and had the best holiday I can remember having. We were 9 lads of mixed ability, from expert to never-skied-before. By the end of the trip we could all ski to a comfortable level, had all made many friends around the resort, had had a whale of a time in... More

stayed 1st week of march. Had been skiing in a different chalet (chalket killy) in val the week before and a different chalet with VIP two doors down the year before both of which were excellent. Booked chalet claire last minute to get a 'good deal' but at the same price as chalet killy. I was very disappointed with quality... More

11 of us decended from Belfast to Chalet Claire on the 4th Feb 2012. The rooms are on the small side but as long as you get one of the rooms with a shower you will be fine. The living room and dining room was able to sit us all comfortably and having the TV and wireless was a nice... More
